There is a lot of upward movement in Leon County. Leases have jumped from $200 per acre to $600 per acre and more.

Diane I am not sure what information is available on any OK state websites but I use Drilling Info. I need a legal description to help you with your acreage. Looks like there are some horizontal Woodford wells in the county.

It appears weird to me as well. I attempted to use the numbers and letters on the legal papersā€¦maybe the below will be clearer

Stephens section 14. Township 3S. (papers show Well C. And include SW/4. SW/4. SW/4. NW/4

There are some wells in the LOCO sand in section 14 that is why you see LOCO. Is this a division order they want you to sign

There have been multiple wells on production but it almost overwhelming because there is so much acreage described in your legal descriptions. I do well with one at a time type questions.

RKI Exploration spud the well but no completion paperwork has been filed. The spud date was in April so I dont know if they just havent fracked it yet or what they are waiting on.

I am finding my way around this site so I may be asking a question multiple times. If so, I apologize. I was contacted by Samson concerning a lease for rights in the j Clark and a.m. Perry surveys near Oakwood. Hasnā€™t been much activity in recent years that I am aware of. Is something new going on?

I need some more information to be able to help you. What state are your minerals in? What county? What abstract numbers are the clark and perry surveys? I dont know oakwood so that isnt much help to me. A legal description would really help me help you.

Hi Bill. Thanks for responding. The minerals are in Leon county, Texas. 177 acres in the j. Clark survey #198 and 335.9 acres in the A.M. Perry survey #676. Does that help? If not, I will do some digging to see if I can find a better description. Thanks again. Jill
