Forgotten well? It just a dawned on me that I haven’t heard anything since last August about a well in Sec. 3,- 1S-5W. I’m thinking CLR must have crossed it off their list. ??

Be sure and ask for your interest payment on the Ely if they are that late. Odd, I received mine months ago…

Finally got the DO today from Marathon for 12-1s-5w (Ely). Fifteen months almost from completion to DO. The instruction letter said to include the “enclosed” W-9 but thar wern’t no W-9. I filled one out at irs.gov and enclosed it. Assuming no one got them, that will be another sixty days for them.

Just going to ask again anyone heard anything on the Cheasapeake 119 million settlement

No. Nothing yet.

Thx Debbie

Sorry…I did not see the posting of the last Claudine well. They haven’t posted anything on their website for the Claudine (for us) since the last of June. Don’t know whether they had it shut in or maybe just didn’t make anything!

I was on the phone with Chesapeake today. She said the number to call for the settlement is: 844-823-7933 Good luck…

Or look at : chesapeakeokclassaction according to her

I tried it with a .com extension and nothing happened. It is registered, but I didn’t have any luck.

Is anyone else missing checks from Chesapeake? I just received a 2014 check today and am missing June and July. I called them and they will reissue my 2014 one. They switched banks in June and some folks are having trouble.

Linda, I must have missed something about the Claudine. I hadn’t heard anything about a second well being started, except some talk about maybe they would try to get around the fault. Never got any paper work. Did they actually start drilling one?

Gay…you are correct about the first Jarred well and we have been getting a check on that one but this was another completion that just came out in the paper today. Believe it was drilled on the North (east or west) of section 16 and went north through 9 (in order to get what they failed to get with the first Jerred well). But I didn’t think they were going to call it a Jerred well. Was thinking they were calling it something else so was confused when he called about the new well this morning. Said it was drilled in 16 2n4w through 9 and I’m thinking it’s the one that 16 would not be perforated in so can you see anything about that? thanks!

Might be the Virginia #1H-4X which goes two units into 4 (see report below), or the Virginia 1H-9 which only goes one. (no completion report)

Linda, I may be interpreting this wrong, but it looks like the Jarred 1h-9x was started in sec 21 and was to be split 50/50 with sec 9 & 16. However, the hole collapsed and they were unable to drill and produce from sec 9, so well was renamed to Jarred 1h-16 so now all production is from sec 16. Hope for your sake that I am correct. It has been producing since September 2014.

No…Kathlyn…I don’t think so. I was talking about the regular check we have been getting on the first Claudine…we didn’t get one for July (which we usually get about the 1st-3rd of the next month). Have you heard anything about it maybe being shut in or just not making anything?

Hubby called and was upbeat because he had read about the completion of the Jerod 1X-9 which was drilled in section 16 2n4w. It was a very good well coming in at about 1600 bbls. of oil and some gas (forgot the exact numbers he said). I told him I hated to burst his bubble but I believe that was the one that just had a pad on 16 but that 9 gets it all. I hope I’m wrong but could someone check on the OCC website about that one for sure? I’ll still be tickled for our friends that have minerals in sec. 9 but would be more tickled if we got to share. lol

The one your husband saw was the former Jarred 1h-9x, now Jarred 1h-16. Completion report was just filed this month, even tho it completed 9/4/14. 1662 Oil, 1683 Gas. It came out on the energy report on 8/4, but may have just made the papers today.

Can someone give me an address or phone number for contacting Marathon?

Its been six months since their well on our lease began producing and I would like to be able to contact them. I understand they can be pretty slow with division orders and first checks, but I would like to be able to contact them to request intertest payments.

The best way to contact Marathon would be to go onto their royalty owners website.

Yes…Martha…that’s the one I was thinking about when he called and told me about one drilled in 16 2n4w. (Virginia).

Yes…Gay…that’s the same numbers they reported so guess it’s the same Jerred. SHOOT…we’ve already gotten the four month check on that one and then it was killed by the fracking around it. I’ve been told it’s coming back but we had three low checks on it the last three months. Hopefully next time will be better. The Oklahoman was really slow getting that one out, weren’t they?

Yelp…Gay, that all sounds about right. Looks like it’s slowly coming back some. Do you have a working interest in that one?
