Iāve got open acreage in Section 6 (and an offset, 8) and I wouldnāt lease my acreage at that price. Your situation may be different than mine. I leased part of Section 6 for more than twice that and with a 1/5 RI, but that was 18 months ago.
I sent an email in to Newfield to inquire about the Kelly wells in Section 14 & 11 but havenāt received a response. My calculations put the DOs to be mailed out in September (based on their first sale dates).

Thanks, Rick! I had decided not to lease at that price. When Phil called today, he wanted me to tell him what it would take. I just told him I would wait for a better deal. My interest is less than 1 NMA, so it is not a big deal one way or another.

How can I find out who holds the deed to a certain Section, Range, and Township? I was contacted about leasing the property, but I have no record or deed of this particular one. Any help appreciated! If I do own it, Iād sure like to know!
Google says Fortiva is a finance company. Sometimes companies check your credit before trying to sell you something. A very annoying practice but apparently legal.

Ask whomever called you to provide the relevant documentation from their title search. Then you can hunt it down once you have the names from the title search.
Thank you Michael, I looked it up also and all I could find was that it was a financial service too. Yeah, I agree that itās annoying. Iām also looking for work and Iām pretty sure I agreed to let them run my credit. If thatās the caseā¦ Then Iām pretty surprised the organization labeled themselves as a gas company on the credit inquiry.
