We and so many others I know got the CR/Stamps Brothers Claims papers but I’m thinking that $5,000,000. won’t go very far among all the royalty holders there were from 2009 which is the year we got most of our minerals.

Thanks Hutch for the explanation!

You’re right Linda, but it’s a claim for not paying interest for exceeding the 6 month deadline for paying first royalties. Probably not a lot of money for the average royalty owner. A lot of people got the notice that really don’t even have a claim but one attorney advised to go ahead and sign on, you never know.

Oh, I didn’t realize that was what it was for. We didn’t have a real claim then because they paid us in the 6 months on our well.

I signed on anyway… all they can say is “you dont qualify”. That was very early into my dealings with oil companies so I could very well be entitled.

Family just signed with Newfield in sections 18 and 19 2n 5w. 1750 and 1/5.

Anyone have an idea of price per mineral acre for sec 2 and 3 1n-4W Stephens county

The post below is for sec. 27 and 34 2n4w.

About 2 weeks ago I spoke with the lady at Newfield as to when the DO’s would be sent out on the Mark #1 well on sections 27 and 34 and she said “all I can say is they are being prepared now”…not received anything yet!

Eleanor, recent pooling in 2N-5W by Newfield was for $840 Miss + $910 Woodford at 3/16ths ($1750), $720 Miss + $780 Woodford for 1/5th ($1500) , $0 and 1/4th.

Noticed on the Newfield website that they sent the checks for the first four months of the production on the new Mark well on sec. 34 2n4w even before they sent out the DO’s (I guess). Anyway we haven’t received the DO’s yet. Has anyone else received the Division Orders on that well?

Hello everyone! Does anyone have any information about whatever happened with Chevron trying to auction off their interest in the SOHOT and the SCOOP. It went up for auction a month ago, but I haven’t found any other information about it.

Kim

Rig was still up and drilling on what I believe to be one of the new Tina wells they are drilling. It’s right by the highway 76 going south of Lindsay at the Lindsay/Garvin County line I believe. If I remember correctly the Tina # 1 started in Stevens Co and went north across the line into Garvin.

If you are on the well records part of the OCC, look at the 1073 forms. Those are the change of operator. It lists the Morgan wells by name and number.

I received a DO from Oklahoma Petroleum Allies for Section 9, 1S, 5W. Operator is Alligator Rock Well Service. Well name is Morgan. I was not aware any drilling was going on there. I checked the OCC site and don’t find any info on this well. Does anyone know how to find out about the initial well production?

The rigs are down on Section 23 2n4w (the ones close to the new Newfield office). It looked from a distance that the cranes were over there so probably getting ready to frac. Don’t know how many new wells they drilled but it was at least 4 more and I’m thinking more like 6. Was that more “Bolles” wells?

Terry, There are many old Morgan wells in that section. Morgan LLC turned them over to Alligator as a change of operator. OPA is probably the product buyer. They often send a DO when that happens,

Thank you. I should be able to identify it now.
