Will it go through 16-2N-5W? (Be still, my heart.)

Kirk, I believe the MARCH,7 Court date is for submission of a bottom hole survey and completion interval for the Mark well. Completion Report soon?

David, was that with Chevron?

Back to Scoop, among Newfield’s 57 operated wells there, one is in the mostly sandstone, Springer group—specifically the Goddard Shale member—overlying the Woodford. Its one-section Jarred 1-16H had an IP of 1,950 boe/d and a 30-day average of 1,220 boe/d, 81% oil.

I’m really hoping they drill more of these soon but I guess everyone is hoping the same about their sections are they? lol

Rick are you saying that you think the well ā€œanother wellā€ that Kirk thought he saw was just the court date for bottom hole survey and completion for the first Mark? I hope he’s right and you are wrong on this one…sorry! We are hoping for another Mark or some other one to go into 34 but haven’t gotten any papers on it yet. Please keep us informed guys (or gals).

For those of you that are reading the forum…no I haven’t been up all night. Woke up with my shoulder hurting so I got up for a while to put an ice pack on and then back to bed. Just checking the news since I was last on here.

Linda,Interim Order 659664 will be reopened on March,7. This concerns the Mark well. If an application for another well has been made, that is great news, for we have interest in Section 34.

Kirk…do you think the order to be reopened on March 7 could be what you saw or did you see something else?

Hello everyone! It has been awhile since I have checked into the forum. I received a lease offer, but it was for a section that as far as I know I am only connected to it through it being part of a couple of units that I get paid for. The offer was very decent, but it was for sec 19 1S 4W. Is there any new news about that area and section 14 1S 5W? Can anyone share some insight about why I would keep getting offers for sec 19 1S 4W. This happened a while back when Marathon was drilling the HK- Doom in that section. They sent me a lot a paper work from their attorney; then when it got down to it; Marathon said they didn’t have to pay me??? I thought well it must have been a mistake; then recently I started getting offers again for section 19 1S 4W. Why would that be?

Thank you,

Kimberly

Could be a couple of reasons. The new parties might be interested in a different zone than the unit reservoir. Depending upon the wording of the unit, you may be able to lease a different level. Sometimes we have been able to do that, other times not.

The wells in the unit that pertained to you might have ceased production and the unit may have been contracted and you are not longer included in it.

Best thing to do is ask the landman why they are offering to lease and ask for a copy of the title opinion paragraph that pertains to your acreage.

The new companies may have taken the respondent list from the Marathon applications. Often the land work is not as rigorous when sending out lease offers. The company will do additional title work if you decide to lease. Your best course of action is to follow M Barnes advice in her last paragraph.

Thank you M Barnes and Soonerpe!

I will email the company and ask them. Not having luck with returning calls to them because of my work schedule. They open after I leave to work and they are closed when I get off work. I will find out and post to the forum what the reply is.

You are a great scout! Thanks for the update.

Thought someone said they are drilling some more Tina wells but saw no rigs up around the Tina #1 yet.

On the way back to Lindsay and on my far left I could see a couple of rigs standing to the west. Guessing they would be in 3n4w of Garvin.

The two rigs that are on east of the new Newfield office and south of the Bolles well are still standing. The one closes to the office had a lot of pipe in the derrick and the one further east didn’t have much if any pipe in it. That’s about all the info I have now.

Went down south through the diggings a little yesterday. Rig is still up on the new well going through 19 2n4w (hope that’s right). It’s the well that is being drilled north of the Pearl Assembly of God. It didn’t have any pipe in the derrick so maybe it’s all in the hole. Don’t know what stage they are in but just that the rig is still there. Some dear friends of ours has a little piece of this one. Hope it’s good enough to treat us to Smokin Joe’s. lol

It’s not much but your welcome!

John, I know they have locations in Davis and in Rush Springs. Good Food!

Thanks M Barnes…I’m slipping on keeping up with that kind of information and failed to write down when I saw the well completed and when we talked to the man about how good the well was. I don’t guess that report you saw told how much oil per day it was averaging did it? Since they only went 700 ft. into our section 34 I wasn’t as excited about gathering information I guess. But I would like to have some idea what the first check might be like.

Where is Smokin Joe’s Linda?
