Please look at the attached document from Newfield. They are searching for the names on the list because they have no current addresses for them. If you know someone, let them know! They are missing out on their royalty.
Aubrey McClendon dead in car accident. Just reported on CNBC
Oh my goodnessâŚdoesnât sound like the McClendon family has had any good news lately!
So oil is supposed to hover around 40 a barrel until the next OPEC meeting. I read this in a couple of different places. one being Bloomberg Energy.
Linda, received a call yesterday relative to leasing mineral rights in Sec. 34 2N 4W. Offer was $800 for 3/16 and $250 1/4.
OuchâŚDannyâŚthatâs sure down from what we got to re-lease for the last time. We leased the second time for $1800. for 1/5 after a little haggling but then of course that was when oil was high and the drilling was fierce! Iâm glad to hear they are still interested in that section though. Thanks for letting us know. Our lease will be up in May I believe and I hope prices go up by then and they are ready to drill!
That well is in the gas zone of the Woodford. As you go farther west in the township, the zone has a higher hydrocarbon maturation (was âcookedâ more) so the oil has either migrated vertically or been turned into gas. The âgasâ line is on some of the operator investor maps. Nice well!
Completion report for section 6 & 7 2n 5w.
0602n05w---- wow Iâm surprised that it only shows gasâŚ
Mayhaps vertically to the Springer :).
Yup! Woodford sources many of OK reservoirs!
The language means that neither party has rights (think of yourself) or responsibilities (think of Dawson) beyond the written terms in the document. That said, I have found Dawson reasonable to deal with. You should consider making any changes you want or need to the agreement. 1) Limit to one seismic survey. 2) Limit to specific ending date. You can call and ask when the seismic is planned, but it should be within some 6 to 9 months. 3) Language should state that Dawson or agents are responsible for all related damages and liabilities. 4) Limit to specified acreage and not other minerals without payment.
Hi all. I posted this a while back and never really received advice regarding the language in the document. We do not own the surface. The areas the request refers to are: Sec 4 2N 6W and Sec 33 3N 6W. âI have received a letter from Dawson Geophysical Co. including a contract to allow them to do seismic exploration on a couple of mineral sites we have. It includes the phrase âbut in no event will this agreement extend beyond the terms of this agreementâ, and yet there isnât mentioned anywhere on the document a time limit or any dates at all. Is this an offer I should consider?â
Not trying to sell stock in CR even though we own some (disclaimerâŚlol) but just thought this was an interesting article.http://seekingalpha.com/article/3961993-continental-resources-buy?sâŚ
We received a notice from attorneys for Continental. There is a new well going from 15 into 10, 2N-4W. The map they have of multiple sections there is almost impossible to read, so can anyone give me an idea where I can get a bigger one ? This map has all wells in sections 2,3,4; 9,10,11;14, 15, 16; and 21, 22, 23. I like that all the wells are diagrammed there, but not legible, even with a magnifier⌠Thanks all.
Thank you, TennisDaze for your suggestions. I am getting a new contract with adjusted language. Someone (I think it was Linda Rig.) asked what company and acreage was involved. Youâll see that in my message below. Thanks again, all, for so much help!
Charlie,
Attached is a map of wells in that areaActive%202N%204W%204-5-2016%20WORKING%20SCOOP%20WELLS.pdf
