I’m not a moderator, at least not on this website/forum.
For those of you who seemed to be eager to “jump on the bandwagon” alleging this is not the site for politics I beg to differ with you, for if you scan through some of the other posts in the different counties you will find politics is a part of this forum, like anything else. Some post you may like and some you might not, but so far, I haven’t found anybody who’s experienced a complete meltdown, like the one’s we experienced here the other day simply because, they didn’t agree with what other members had to say! Nor, did I find anybody taking it to the extremes of “announcing how they were going to pick up their marbles and go home,” after, their snide remarks failed to shut everyone up!
What is even more bizarre, is that one of the opposing parties had previously tried a similar stunt in another county. “Out of the blue” and apparently, for no other reason other than, to try to stir up trouble because, of not liking another members point-of-view, so she indirectly asks “who’s calling who an idiot?” (when strangely, nobody had called anyone, an idiot - a “crackpot, yes, but not an idiot”)! She then, comments several hours later by saying, she was “sorry for the wrong choice of word, I meant crackpot”! Nevertheless, her “off the wall” posts were ignored, but brilliantly followed up by making it clear of how this “crackpot” administration has been messing with our oil! Including, a chart and a video with an explanation of how to bring oil back up to $145 bpd again, if we’d want to!

My point is, nobody is going to try to silence me by bullying or calling me names or implying, that I should find another country simply because, I refuse to pretend everything’s still Ok with our country, when plainly, its not!! If they don’t like my comments, too bad, I refuse to allow anyone to take away what few rights we still have left!!

There is an area on this forum for political topics. If you notice, this one says “Logan County”. So unless it is something specific to Logan County it might be considered off-topic to many of the users here looking for Logan County specific info.
All of this banter back and forth on the comment wall is one reason I don’t frequent this area as I once did.
I’m not really a fan of the “comment wall” on the forum because it makes it very difficult to follow the conversations “threads”. It is like stuffing 8-10 people in a very small room with 7 different conversations going on. But it is what it is and I’m thankful we have it to give us an opportunity to gather.
That said, if you folks will all use the “discussion area” right above the “comment wall” the conversations SHOULD stay more on topic. I’d even suggest starting a “politics” discussion to move some of it off the wall.
I think everyone should be both respectable of the users of the forums, and the intent of what the forums have been placed here for our use. Too often people forget their manners in an online community. They act and say things in ways they would never think of doing in a real-live conversation in a gathering area.
OK, I’ll get off my soapbox.

Ron McK, thanx for all of the work you are doing with hitting us with these crazy numbers, and my guess is that they all mean something and should reveal to us what is going on in Logan County. Cowboy appears to be going on a big roundup and Devon is steering the herd. Bottom line, lots of people are putting lots of cash into drilling in Logan County.

THANK YOU MRF Administration - I come to this website for information on Oil and Gas in Logan County that I cannot get anywhere else. And some of the information has been astoundingly useful, eye opening and intelligent. If I want to know about politics, recipes and the like, there are other places for this type of free speech to take place.

Osage Exploration updated their website at this link with information on April 2013 drilling progress in Logan County.
After lots of research, Slawson is still my pick outa the pack, after all, they also own a chain of smoothie stores, I guess in/around Wichita? Great stuff, but crude is better?
From this link to Osage by Vern James, is apparent that Slawson is really active and busy. And from what I can determine, and I have not been wrong since July 17, 1998, drilling of multiple wells in the same sections has picked up dramatically? Devon doing it a lot in both Payne and Logan County.

Yeh, Slawson Exploration of Wichita, in oil business since 1957, also in Cahoots with JAMBA JUICE of San Francisco, a smoothie giant. I think they soulch name a Smoothie after the well they are drilling at 17 20 3 in Logan County, and call it ROUGHED GROUSE GUSHER SMOOTHIE. Another good name for a smoothie would be 10w-40 or 20 weight. DRILL SLAWSON DRILL.
Anyone have dealings with T. S. Dudley Land Company? Any info on leasing offers in Sec19 Twp 18N? Trying to get more educated before talking to my siblings.
The Harvey 1-11WH was started on 12-15-2012 ,no prod. info yet but in the pooling for 11 they were ordered to offer $500 for 3/16th or no cash & 1/4th. The leasing in 15n-2w has been very very heavy in the last 6 months by about 4 Co.s
Ron they sent me a letter on a proposed Mississippi horizontal test well, options were 325 per with 1/8th or 300 per with 3/16th. Or participate paying my share.

Ron, my interest is prob small. It started as a 87+ acre that was split into thirds and I got 1/4 of one of the thirds (sibs got the other3/4). The other 2/3s went to other heirs.
Hmm well I signed a lease 3 years ago at the end of may for 3/16 maybe they will have to release love this waiting game.
