So this is just a rumor, but heard it from two folks in Guthrie helping us with our mineral rights that the well on the Davis Farm is making 1,400 barrel a day. Has anyone else heard this? Where is that well at? I don’t know who knows what anymore, but what I heard. If I do the math that is a lot of money.
The large oil makers from the hogshooter are in the panhandle .Please advise if anyone knows of any in Logan.Never heard of much production from hogshooter elsewhere.Drilling it horizontal may be the ticket here?

Devon has Pooling hearings in 19n-2w today in sections19,20,21,22,27,29,30.
Ron u mentioned some sections that devon was getting some paper work together on, would those happen to be in 19n - 2w? As well?
Thanks Ron!!
In 19n03w Devon has pooling hearings today for sections 16&17. They have started the paper work for wells in 15,20,21,22,24,25,26,29,33 Other companies have filings for, or have wells, in 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,27,28.
Todd See my second posting below, let me know if you have any questions.
I mean they have applied for a spacing, location exception or pooling.
Ron
my interests are in Pawnee county but I’ve been monitoring surrounding counties’ activity as well on news and OCC. The Devon MH wells and drilling permits I’ve seen are mostly in Noble county - if my memory is right. I don’t have examples ready now and am getting ready to leave but could find some later today. Again if my memory is right, they recently got a permit for producing 3 depths, but all I’ve seen otherwise has been only 2.
D. Pharr, what’s your legal? If your section is in T16N-19N and R2W, R3W, R4W, you might want to email Greg to see if he’s interested. Even if it’s not get in touch with him anyway because, the area’s he’s interested in may have changed since, the last time I spoke to him! I really liked working with him and he’s real informative! Make sure you take the time to check out what’s going on with the adjacent area’s surrounding you because, there seems to be a lot of activity about ready to happen in Logan. I got $800. pma last May, but I think I read on here from “Robert” depending where your at it’s as high as $1400. may be wrong, but read through some of the past posts to get an idea.

The pooling is nothing to fear. I’ll look up some info for you.
A good oil and gas attorney from the Mulhall Orlando area is Nikki Leach out of Perry. Don’t have his number. I am running everything through him. Devon is surveying a pipeline or pipelines running east west, I heard they were going to run 3 lines oil gas and water. I have heard they are running pipelines on CR65 and CR63.
Ron, What do you mean started the paperwork? Do you mean they’re going in for the permits? I saw the hearing set for 16&17 in the OCC, for pooling, but am I looking in the right place??
Larry Are they multi unit ? Under more then one section from the same location. Where are you located ?
Thank you Kaye. My legal is 33-17N-2W, Logan County. I don’t know how to research the activity in the surrounding areas. I live in Austin, Texas. I’ve been offered 400/acre (tiny bonus) plus 3/16 on a 3/2 lease with depth clause. I’ve read through the posts during the past month or so and am trying to get up to speed. Unfamiliar with the subject.
an interesting thing i’ve noticed about Devon is they are drilling several multi-depth horizontal holes. from my novice level understanding that’s producing multiple formations within the same hole. makes me kinda hope Highmount doesn’t take the upcoming lease extension and I can market our place to them. (minimal hope, i know)
I’ve been offered a lease on land in Logan County for which I own the property rights. It’s a small piece of land, 15 acres. I would like to contact an attorney who can review the lease before I sign it. Recommendations please?
I was told to act fast (by the person soliciting the lease from me) in order to avoid pooling. Not willing to jump in without understanding though.
Thank you Ron. He told me that if it pooled, I would get the average between $75 and $400 an acre. This morning, I negotiated from 300 to 450/acre. Since I am uninformed regarding oil/gas issues (including leases) I appreciate your help (and yours as well Kaye).
