You should list the Township and Range you are interested in because they all have a Section 33.
Craig: They have just started drilling a well on the east side of 29 and 32. When they drilled the Mackey, they abandoned the first pad and built another to the northeast. The first pad is still rocked and is in a good location to drill 33.
Thanks for the info guys! In regards to specific township/range in Section 33, here the description: 01N-01EIM-033-01 E/2 NE/4; NW/4 NW/4 NE/4; E/2 NW/4 NE/4; All that portion SE/4 lying North of the centerline of Highway 7. And 01N-01EIM-33-11 SW/4 NW/4 NW/4; All that portion of the SE/4 lying south of the centerline of Highway 7
I received a letter from Charger Resources this week concerning mineral rights that I apparently hold. I had no idea about this. Can someone help me out on this? I would like to know all names on the mineral rights and where it came from, also how much acreage are we talking about. Iâve left message for the person that sent letter but she hasnât called back yet. This is in Garvin county. Section 10-4N-4W. I am new to this and have no idea what Iâm doing. Any help pointing me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.
Sounds like good things to come for 2N 3W! Yea! Iâm happy for you Vicki.
Canât wait!
Leased in sec 32 & 34 2N3W today for $3k per acre with 1/5. Thanks to my friend that talked me into asking for a better deal than they first offered. You know who you are. Lease was with Jackfork. My lease in this area 3 yrs ago was $1500 PA. Things just keep getting better.
Amy, Try www.okcountyrecords.com and see if your name shows up there.
Talk to the land person and find out from them what the amount of acreage is. If you are new at this, read over the last six months of Garvin, Grady and Stephens county forums to get informed about what is going on. You probably do not want the terms as offered by the first contact. You need better ones with better clauses which we can help with. Go do some reading and then come back with your questions before you sign anything. Also read the MINERAL HELP section above. Hit the View All button above and on one of these three is a good set of web sites, links, etc for newbies.
Looks like another nice Springer well for CLR. 21-3n-4w. Ince 1-21H: 870 bopd, 764 mcfd
Thanks, Karla! Let me know if you see a spud report on 17.
Maybe they will get a good look at the springer on their way down. We can always hope.
Also, congrats, Vicki for the good deal you received on your lease! Thatâs a dandy bonus for a 1/5!!!
Pam, he was pretty easy to deal with. I donât know who you spoke with, but Randy is who I talked to. Just call him back and tell him âVicki said soâ. Just kidding, donât say that. I have to deal with him on another matter in a couple of months. Karla, I donât know how long it will take but my guess would be at least 4-5 months. There are so many variables that can prolong things, that I wouldnât want to try to guess that one. Seems like it took forever to drill the Studdard and this well is way longer/deeper.
VickiâŚwould that well on 17 be close to the Studdard well that you and I visited on our tour? There is a rig up there now that is just down the hill a bit from the Studdard. Wondering if thatâs the one you are asking about.
Thanx, Linda. Iâve not seen a spud report for the well that Karla and I are anxiously awaiting (I canât remember the name they gave it without looking up the permit to drill), so Iâm not sure that is it, but SHL is on the North edge of 20 running North thru 17, 8 & 5. I was thinking Pâs mom had a small piece of 17 or 20 (?) If itâs South of the Studdard where you & I went, then it sounds like about where it might be located. And just because I canât find spud notice doesnât mean much cause looking that stuff up on the OCC website is not my forte. Karla had mentioned that someone @ NFX told her it was planned for the end of Nov. Maybe if someone knows, theyâll let us know (hint hint). I feel like Iâm always asking someone to look up something for me.
Laura, if I had 16 acres, I probably would have taken what they brought to the table. Most people on the forum wouldnât advise an early lease. They say pooling is the only way to go. I think people should do what works for them. I hope I answered your question, but I donât usually say publicly how many acres I have and you will never hear me ask someone how many acres they have.
VickiâŚthe rig is only a short distance down the hill (south and a tiny bit west of the Studdard location). Seems like you or someone had said that the highway 29 divides section 20 in which case the rig is probably on the north edge of section 20. My mother in law only has a tiny (1/2 acre) in section 20. She has never gotten her check from the Studdard. They had us send in an Affidavid of Heirship (sp. ?) for the heirs of J.S. Sandefur (hubbyâs great granddad) and today when I called to see if they received everything they needed the lady in NFX office said it would probably take quite a while to get everyoneâs paperwork in and then they would make a decision as to whoâs suppose to get what. Itâs hard for us to get too excited over that tiny amount but his mom will be tickled just to hear that she got a check in the mail. She ask several times a day âdid I get a check today?â She wonât come in for this new well you are talking about though.
Linda and Karla, I just looked again and there it was. The well is the Hays 1H-5XX and it spud on 11-9. I was looking for form 1002 and it is form 1001A. As I mentioned to someone a day or two ago-Iâm a work in progress. Linda, hope you are doing better everyday,
That is so exciting Vicki. So it will take how many months to complete? Thanks Linda for your help.
Woohoo Vicki! You have given us lots of hope with that deal! The landman from Jackfork called me back yesterday but I missed his call. Maybe he will be ready to deal with us.
