Garvin County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Richard, I don’t mean to butt in but I think Rick is off running marathons. We have had this happen several times in the last couple of years with CR. I don’t know what triggers it but they have gone in and made corrections. The last one went back to day one and made slight changes in my favor. Over the whole thing it only made a difference of a couple of dollars.

Hutch, mine made a difference of almost $ 10,000 and I always appreciate you butting in. I always learn something. Thanks

I hope that $10K is in your favor!

Yes Hutch, but as far back as 4/2013 and every subsequent month to 5/2014

It could have been coded in incorrectly and then caught in an audit. If the were paying on oil, it should not have been held in suspense for that length of time. I would call the division order analyst and ask, and inquire about interest due! you are looking at 1000 or so in interest coming. I just had one that paid me for productin from 2004!

I guess I missed the original question. I have been out on the weekends running, but I’m trying to keep up! ;).

To fill you in Rick, funds received in the last Newfield ck. included funds for MCF and NGL production from back in 4/2013 thru 5/2014 and all on one well.

I wonder why it wasn’t paid then is my question.

I just received a similar check from Marathon from a well in 2012. I sent them a certified letter requesting my 12% interest due. May take about 10 certified letters, but will keep after it. It was a nice check, so they owe some nice back interest.

Continental had a Woodford well in 1-3n-5w Grady Co…They just finished a Springer well there that looks to be a better oil well but less gas. Newfield had a Woodford well in 3-3n-5w Grady Co… They got an I.D. for 4 more wells that they were going to start in Dec. Now they have filed for a pooling for the Springer. The hearing is set for Nov 17 the landman said they were set to start drilling Nov 27 and that they moved the Woodford wells to sometime in 2015. Newfield just finished what looks like a very nice Woodford well in 16-3n-4w Garvin Co. I got a letter today from another Co. that said they were going to drill a Springer well there. Continental has just finished what looks to be a nice Springer In 21-3n-4w where they had a very nice Woodford .

What is the difference between a NFXMC Market and a TIK Market? The TIK Market is where a years worth of revenue has been.

Thanks Vicki, I was hoping they would include the springer. I’m very thankful that they will be drilling soon.

Ron, very nice info. Hopefully before long they will be interested in drilling section 19 4N4W in Garvin county. Ron, do you think in sections 33 and 35 4N4W in the Springer Purdy well’s, where Merit produces, that they may drill some horizontal well’s? Tom

Karla S., I just saw where permit to drill was issued Fri for the Hays 1-5 in 2N3W. Yeah!!

Me too. The Springer would be nice, but maybe later…

Happy Monday Folks  I have been away from this board for a bit…but is there something going on in Garvin County? Like alot of activity… My brother lives in OKC and he was approached to lease mineral rights in Garvin county and the guys told him they didn’t care where it was just as long as it was in Garvin…What’s up with that?

Susan, if you will read the last several months of posts on the forum, I think it will give you a clear picture of what is currently going on in GC. There has been a lot of leasing going on in this area for a couple of years now, a lot of which has been followed by drilling. If you want specifics, you would probably get more specific answers by giving specific descriptions of your area of interest.

Craig, according to the completion report the Mackey 1-28H will be producing from section 28 only.

1N 1E actually

Anyone have any info on Section 33, the Mackey 1-28-33xh well apparently was changed and completed as the Mackey 1-28. I had thought this well was supposed to have laterals than went into Section 33. I was told the well did not extend out of section 28. Is there a way to verify that this well did not extend into section 33 or anyone know if there are any intent to drill in Section 33? Thanks!
