Received DO’s on the Studdard today. Spoke with a lady @ NFX that said first payment was showing up in my acct and would be included in my check on their regular payday @ the end of this month. I’m impressed that they will send it out in the 6th month of sales to avoid paying interest.
Hey thanks Vicki for the info on the Studdard! Hubby’s mom will get her LITTLE check on her 1/2 acre and it’ll tickle her to death when she gets it and 2 minutes later she won’t remember a thing about it and they can tell her about it all over again! That might not be all bad to have a bad memory after all. Who else has a pleasant surprise over and over again all day long!
VERY interesting information Vicki, THANKS!
You Bet!! That is a very high price for land in that area! Bet your cousins parents were tickled to get that kind of money for their land.
How hard is it to file a Quiet title with Garvin County Assessor ?
Do I need to hire a Lawyer ?
Thanks to M Barnes for the update on Sec23-3N-4W area. Hopefully they will hit pay dirt. Thanks again

It will spud in 26, so watch it from that section for the spud.
David,
Yes, you will need an attorney for a quite title suit. However, it it will be within the Garvin county court instead of the Assessors office.
Parks 1H-31X Division Orders are out.
Anyone had any luck getting their 12% of of Newfield for Williams 1H-7X? I wrote them once and wrote them again today. Just curious….
Martha, received interim findings and order today from C&B Law Firm for the well in sec 5, 8, 17/2N3W referencing cause #201404100-T. The last sentence of the order states "This cause shall be reopened 2/9/15 for introduction of the BH survey. Does that mean there will be further hearings on this well before it’s drilled or does it mean it will/should be drilled with final %'s of each section determined upon completion BY that date? Does my question make sense? Are they going to drill in the next 6 months or after 2/9?
This is in Garvin, 9-1N-3W thought some of you would find the maps and numbers interesting. Always check the exhibits on the OCC website. Some beautiful nuggets of info there!
Does anyone have the page number for information about OK statutory interest? I know I have seen it in one of the discussions but I can’t locate it.
Thanks
Vicki, basically interim means they are proceeding and the loose ends will be tied up later, such as you said the production allocations to be determined after the completed well survey is done. BH=bottom hole.
Michael, thank you. I was hoping that’s what it meant.
can anyone tell me whats going in GARVIN county in sections 21-4n 2e sec 23 4n-2e and sec 31 3n 1e thank you
Does anyone have some insight into the going lease rates for Section 22-1N-2W? I just received a lease offer of $200/nma for 1/5 RI.
§52-570.10
There you go again, Hutch!!
Amanda,
Please tell us a bit about what you know about these sections and your current position on them. Maybe we can then help fill in the blanks.
A question such as yours can easily take an hour or more to research leasing, applications, permits, possible geological, and then the same on surrounding areas looking for a trend. There is no need to research leasing activity if you are already leased. There is no need to look at applications if you know that applications have been completed, orders issued, and a permit is out there and you are only waiting for spud activity. Since your request covers areas 10 miles apart it makes it much more time consuming.
Osage Oil and Gas Properties.
Laura,
I’ve posted about it in different areas. Here is one on a different topic but contains the info you are looking for.
