Garvin County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Thanks Jen. If the well in 23 does come to pass I will go with the WI, try to make a little money on it. Do you know anyone with a WI in the Poteet’s?. Sure would like a progress report.

I.D. in 18-3n-4w. Notice the info on Springer well in Section 19 . It is #11 on the list.

Where’s Rick? Still running?

M. the AFE for 23 is a little over $9mil. Single unit Woodford. Hoping for some multis with 14 since I have a little dab in both.

The AFE for 25 is $9,585,500

Hutch, I ran a half marathon in Juneau today. Just have limited access to the net for a while.

Rick, hope you are having fun. Talk to you when you get back.

Rick,

I delivered a friend from Georgia(.ge)to OKC this afternoon. He saw the 53 acre lake in 29 7N 5W and the properties in the surrounding counties.

I am still drinking cha cha!

Karla, sorry, I was really busy @ work tonight and didn’t get a chance to call you back. I got the notice you were talking about and I have to say I don’t have a clue what it means. Maybe some kind soul that knows what all this stuff means can translate it for us. Section 31 doesn’t even align with 5,8,&17-that is what really confuses me the most. If anyway who speaks “legal” could cipher this for us it would be great. The cause is 201404099-T and the order # is 627930.

I believe the reference to sec 31 is referencing a previous spacing order and has nothing to do with a multi unit well with those other sections. I find pooling orders for sections 17 and 8 individually called “part of a multi unit horizontal well”. There is nothing that specifically states that that 8 and 17 will be drilled as a multi unit but I believe that is the implication. The application for “establishment of drilling and spacing units” includes sec 5 but I don’t see any applications or orders that tie it into a multi unit with 8 and 17. Just because several units are spaced under one order doesn’t mean they will necessarily be drilled together.

Good job, Hutch! I know it probably left a lot to be desired on your agenda of “things to do today” list. You should be good to go now.

Thanks M Barns and Hutch.

They are drilling a well in section 17 2N 3W. It is going north thru section 8, 5 and maybe 31(3N3W) is that even possible. They are calling it a gas well. This is in the oil part I thought?

Karla…I saw a rig over that way evening before last. Do you think the rig could already be up for that one? I had thought it might be one more Boles rig but I couldn’t really pinpoint where exactly it was as I stayed off the muddy roads and on highway 29 and west of the intersection 29/76 (s. of Lindsay). Seems like my mother in law should be getting a little check off of the Studdard on 20 2n3w for the first four months but seen nothing of it yet. Anyone know anything about that?

Look in OCC files 201404099 under the Exhibits (always wondered why they can’t spell it correctly…?)

Here is the map for really long well UNNAMED 1H-5XX. Not in 31. Starts in far NW corner of 20, goes through 17, then 8 and halfway through 5. This will be a technical achievement if they can get this one to work. That will be a whole lot of stages of frac’ing.

Vicki and Karla, if no one else does it first I’ll take a look when I get back from physical torture in the morning.

Hutch, thanks for looking. I (& Karla) have been watching the daily dockets to see how pooling goes on these sections and it looked to me like 8 was protested @ the hearing this week, but again, I’m not the best @ understanding that chicken scratch they write on the docket results. I actually thought everything was a go when I spoke w/a lady @ OCC last week who said it looks like 17 & 8 have been pooled but she didn’t see anything on 5. Then this mumbojumbo (?) came in the mail and really got me wondering. Linda, maybe the rig you saw is the Huffman w/SHL in 19 going south thru 30 & 31, but no perfs in 19. Tell your mother-in-law I spoke w/NFX couple weeks ago and they are sending out DO’s in August. Hutch, hang tough through physical torture, which you obviously are if you’re still going. lol. Thanx again.

Congrats Hutch. Keep up the therapy and you will be running with Rick soon!

Vicki, I did hang tough, “graduated” today!

Thanks Martha, maybe a fast walk!
