Floyd, it may be a while for those sections. The main drilling in the Woodford is to the west in 3W, 4W and 5W in the condensate zones, then moving east into the oil zones. You are on the far east side of the oil zone so it may take a while for drilling to get there. Hang in there. It is a long game. There is also a very large fault running NW through the western part of 2W, so not sure what that means to your story.
I have minerals in Secs 24 and 25, 2N 2W. Anyone seeing any lease activity there?
Thanks M. Appreciate the information about that fault line.
Continental has proposed a horizontal Woodford in 23-1N/2W. Red Sky land is leasing for CR.
Hi Floyd Call me at 405 850 2728 John McClain
Michael, I have land for lease in 24, 25, 27, 34, 35 & 36 1N/2W. How does the proposed horizontal affect these sections? Or would it?
Whats up is the drilling is moving that way and Continental is leading the pack as usual. They must feel it is worth sinking close to $10mil in a well in 23-1n/2w. Just wish I had a few more acres.
Michael, thank you.
Jim, 23 is the only one I have seen a proposal on. Not a done deal yet but it looks likely. CR hasnât filed any applications yet with the OCC but I will be watching for them.
Laura, the effect is the odds of one or more of your sections getting drilled just went up.
are they drilling in section 23 or 25?
I have received 2 offers for section 25-1N-2w. One is a lease offer from Red Sky for Continental and one isa purchase offer from Sooner Mineral Investments. What is going on in this area?
I received the same offers on 25 01n 02w. Something is up!
Jim, we got the same for 23. Word is they are just testing the waters right now. I donât think we will see any real action for several months.
Rick! You go! That is awesome!
Is the AFE for about $8MM or over 10MM? A smaller amount is one section, a larger amount is two sections.
If you received the AFE, there is a very strong chance a well is coming soon. So that means a well in 23 and a well in 25.
Hutch- I only have a tiny bit in sec 25. Hopefully it will be worth a little something. I will certainly take it! Glad you are doing well with your knees!
Hutch- no on the Poteets. I was thinking about doing the same thing on this Garvin co and on one in Payne co. Iâm new at this but seriously considering it. These are both super small so it shouldnât run that much. A little scary but itâs worth a shot.
Jen, when those 9 more Poteets come in we can afford it. I think we have time to kick it around.
Included with teh offer was an âAuthority for Expenditureâ balance sheet from Continental for Section 25
