Hi Bill, just stumbled across this post, and oddly enough I wondered how to research activity on our mineral lease. We have leased our rights to Continental for a 3-year period. It is in McClain County, OK. If you are still doing this, I’d appreciate any information you might have on that area. Thanks.

I know in Guernsey County right now, they are paying $6800 an acre bonus, and 25% royalties. We are within 3 wells that are being put in right now. So, crossing our fingers that they do well. We have 6 acres total.

Hi,

I’m new to all this leasing stuff. But I can’t find out anything about our lease in Stephens County, Oklahoma. Sec 17 2N 5W. I can only find affidavits. We do not know who even signed the lease. Land man trying to lease for 1800 per acre 3 yrs and 3/16. We also have interest in Sec 9 2N 5W in Stephens. Grandma signed lease to Chesapeake in the 90’s but they’re holding it but no production in 05, 06, 07. And maybe 20 bucks a year. We need help!! Thanks.

Yes, it looks like Cimarex is drilling some good Wolfcamp wells in that area. Strong oil and gas.

Yes, Cimarex Operating is drilling some wells in your area that are making both good oil and good amounts of gas in the Wolfcamp formation. It looks very promising.
