Hello Bill,
My brothers and I inherited mineral rights in properties in Texas--Liberty County, Chambers County, Hardin County, Jefferson County. The majority are in Liberty County. We do have deeds recorded listing the different properties in the different counties. We do have a few wells currently drilling. Any help would be greatly appreciated as our father didn't share information about the properties he inherited from our grandfather so we are having to learn all of this on our own. Our father received a lot of money ($500,000+) in the early 2000's from royalty payments on inherited mineral rights; however, he didn't share that with us either.
Thank you.
Deanna
Hi there, Bill. What a service you have offered up! Many thanks!!! I own property in Atascosa County, TX. Leased to EOG almost 2 years ago, & they’ve already done the seismic survey a few months ago. Doyou know if there’s any new activity there? Thank-you again, Bill, for your selfless act. Suzy
Yes, there is activity in the Eagle Ford Shale Formation, the Buda Formation and Pearsall Shale. It just depends where your property is located, Abstract numbers help me locate your area quicker than any other piece of information.
Well Deanna it is good news that you inhereited so much acreage and that wells are being drilled and produced, as that should generate income. I would need to see legal descriptions for your inherited minerals to really be able to help you locate the tract and tell you what type of production and royalty payments you should be expecting. Its great to have a lot of land and make mailbox money but if you feel like youa rent being paid properly then you may wan tto talk to my lawyer about getting it all straigntened out. Remember until you record your assignemnt or document creating your interest and then provide that recorded document to the oil company that is paying the royalty there is no duty by the oil comapny to find you and pay you if the well is allready in production. You must find them and get them the correct paper work.

Do you just need the acres, survey name and Abstract #? For example: 202 acres, Guidry Tract, in the Oscar Farish Survey, A-195, Liberty County, Texas. Is that the information you need?
That would be helpful but I wont be able to find the exact tract, what I really need is the abstract number and county. I dont see much activity in A-195
I have a well in the purdy singer area in garvin county. Any idea if they are going to drill deeper? I also have well S7 3N 3W that CPK recently shut in. Any thoughts? I have surface and minerals in section 17 2N 3W that XTO leased but no drilling. They seem to be drilling all around this section in garvin county. Thanks for any info, I live in MN.
I can only look up wells in Texas now as I did not renew my membership to be able to look at wells outside of texas. I can help with anything in texas so let me know if you have anything here
Hi. I am wondering what is happening with my mineral rights lease. Billings County, North Dakota- Township 144 North, Range 98 West of the 5th P.M. Haven't heard anything lately so I am curious if anything is happening? Thanks Deanna O'Donnell
Deanna starting January 1 2014 I can only look intop items that are in Texas. The service I use to look outside the state raised thier rates to a level that i found unacceptable and therefore I can be of no help to you, Sorry
Deanna, there is nothing going on on your legal description. Petro Hunt is drilling a well 2 miles north of you. I think there is a fair chance that it may be a horizontal well and if successful would open up more possibilities for you. I would wait to lease again until I knew how this well did.
