Received a proposal from Energy Lease Account LLC on behalf of Newfield for a well in Stephens County Sections 8 & 17, 2N-5W. Has anyone heard what going on for this proposed 1H-8X well?

Hutch or Linda, what is the statis of the Doyle well. We haven’t heard anything about it since receiving the first intents to drill. Thanks

Doyle well is currently being fracked.

Thank you Mr. Paxton…Mrs. Barnes on the graft you showed there is a well on the east side of section 16 running through 21. What is the name of this well. Do you know the statis of this well.

Jachita, I think it is the Doyle 1H-21X. It spud on August 1, 2015, so is probably still drilling. Don’t expect to hear anything for about four-six months officially. Might get some coffeeshop news before then.

Hey folks! I have been following the discussion, but I’m confused. There are mentions of “Doyle well”, a well on section 16 2N 4W, and a well at 8 & 17 2N 5W. How do these relate to each other? We are waiting for movement on a well for sec 16 2N 5W. Anybody have light to shed?

Mineral owners in 16 2n4w will not be getting in on the payments for the Doyle well the way I hear it…just the ones in 21 and 28…They are just using 16 as a pad this time.

It looks like the application process is complete on 16/21 2N-5W to me. What do you see missing. Ref apps, 201502559 thru 201502563. I’ve just been waiting on a permit to be issued.

Bob, that is for mineral sale. CR holds lease and has already drilled first well.

The well in 16/21-2n-5w isn’t supposed to start drilling until spring 2016.

Doyle 1H-21X was drilled by Newfield with spud in 16-2N-4W and bottom hole in 21-2N-4W. The other 16 well you are thinking of is six miles to the west and is not permitted yet although the OCC approved it.

Karen, there is no relation between the 2 wells, one is in range 4W the other is in range 5W. The proposed multi-unit well in 16 and 21-2N/5W is still in the application process. The sections have been pooled but there are a couple more applications not yet filed.
