SEC 34 T2N R4W–does anyone have info on what lease bonus being offered ?

ROBERT R

SEC 34 T2n R4W M BARNES

    Thanks for info

                   ROBERT R

I signed a lease in 34-2n-4w last February for 1700 bonus and 1/4. Not sure if that is still is being offered.

Yes, Jennifer…I think your right. If I were day trading and took the first article to heart and sold my CLR (which I’m not and I didn’t) I would have been really aggravated when the one came out yesterday!

Robert, I don’t have any idea what leases on 34 2n4w are going for now but when I re-leased mine to CR last year sometime I got $1800. and 1/5th but that was before the big slow down and the drop in oil prices you understand. Do you have some that is unleased in that section and are they talking to you about it?

I just noticed that clr has already spud the new Sympson 10-6 in sec 6 02n 04w. That was fast!

Linda- I saw that same article on clr. Said the company was worth zero… Now they talk about a turn around. It just makes me realize that no one really knows anything…it’s just a guessing game.

That was $1800. per acre of course.

Price of oil it is arisen again today! WTI Crude oil up about 1.55 right now. GO CAT GO!

Interesting article! This same website sent me an article yesterday saying just the opposite of this one…“What a difference a day makes”!

Martha, is the Springer just above the Woodford? Are there any maps showing where its at its largest? (referring to depth and area)

I wonder if all these areas where the Woodford wells are drilled will benefit from maybe some more future drilling into the Springer.

lol…Hutch…I feel your pain!!! How’s the other 9 Poteets doing? Well I hope!

165:10-15-9. Allocated oil allowables.

Michael…I don’t know exactly what you are asking Martha but there were 6 Woodford wells drilled on Section 16 2n4w and the last (seventh one) drilled in that section was into the Goddard/Springer and came in a really good OIL well to start with. After it was killed by the fracking in the area (Hutch, I’m not mentioning any names-lol) it is on the comeback trail. I doubt it will ever get back to that initial amount but any and all is appreciated.

So tickled for you and our other friends with royalty there!

Question— just received notice/application from CLR requesting separate allowable (gas) for section 6 and 7 02n04w. ( Proposed 9 wells across 6 and 7) Anyone know what this means? 201504930 and 201504929

Michael, The “Springer” is above the Woodford by a good ways. I am attaching a stratigraphic column that shows the relationship. That being said, a comment needs to go with it. The traditional Springer Formation was a set of sands and is listed at the top of the Mississippian time scale. Most of the older production is from it. The more recent “Springer” shale is more equivalent to the upper Meramec Lime in time and is really called the Goddard shale and it also has a Goodwin sand. So keep in mind when the pooling says Springer, it covers a multitude of reservoirs. See p. 3. Southern Anadarko Basin (let me know if it won’t open)

Linda, which came first, the chicken or the egg? Poteet #1 still on life support since fracking of those darned Newfield wells next door.

Springer is Mississippian ~360-328 ±1.6million years. Woodford is older Devonian ~416-375 ±2.8 million years old (various opinions on the time frames…) Some people think the very top of the Woodford might be early Mississippian. Depends upon the erosion.

The new Vanarkles are awaiting completion still.
