Thanks Mark, actually the I.P. on these wells is even more than the reports add up to according to CLR’s presentation.
Michael, and all others with an interest in the Poteet sections, congratulations! We can see why they call this the “sweet Spot.” Mark Delehanty
Im sorry to ask this …cause it may sound like a real dumb question, but im a newbie…I have an interest in 17 2n 4w Poteet well, how do i find out which well i have interest in?
Something’s happening on 16/2N/5w? What’s there?
Wendy, we have been getting paid for Poteet #1 since 2012. Wells 2 thru 9 began producing in late Feb and first half of March. We could get Division Orders as soon as next month. As Martha said 17 will be sharing production with 20. The allocations for 17 range between 35 and 61%.
Hutch thank you
Don’t know with all the floods around Oklahoma whether those oil trucks will be able to get in to haul the oil off the wells. M. Barnes, Hutch and others that live in Houston…just heard you had some severe storms with a tornado last night. Are you all alright? Also have a cousin who lives there. Will be checking on her this morning too. M…if you were going to take our storms home with you wish you had taken them all (lol not really I hate it for all who have this mess). Praying for the rains and storms to stop for a little while…oh, what a difference a month makes!!!
As we went south to Healdton to my aunt’s funeral yesterday we went through some of the diggings to see what we could see. There were three or four rigs up around Rush Creek (in Garvin Co) and they were sitting up the base of the rig on Section 15 2n4w (I believe this to be one of the new Vanarkels) and when we came back through late yesterday evening they had the derrick standing on it. Hubby said “they’ll probably be drilling on that thing tomorrow or the next day”. Also saw some of the rigs over east of highway 76 and north of highway 29 in Garvin Co. Don’t remember the names of them at the moment.
Had a nice man from Echo call to visit with me a couple of days ago after the talk on here about the good offers they are giving to purchase royalty. He said sections 20, 17 and 11 in 2n4w are kind of like a Lexus in the car business. That’s the main ones he seemed to be interested in at the moment. Said the $40,000 an acre would be pretty close to those offers. He reads these post on here so he knew we had been talking about them I guess. Just wanted me to know they were legit. That’s some mighty big bucks! Sure never thought any of that stuff would be worth anywhere close to that. I told him we didn’t have anything in those three sections but that we had friends that did if that counted! lol
You will have an interest in every well in 17 that has perforations in it. Since many of them are drilled from 17 into 20, you will have only the percent of the perforations that are actually in 17 for each well. You should receive division orders in about six months after the wells come on line. There are quite a few new wells that have just completed. You should already be getting paid on the wells that have been on production for some time. If not, then there is a problem. Come back here if you need help.

Also heard coffee shop talk yesterday that the Jerrod well in 16 2n4w is coming back after being killed for a while from the fracing on other wells. Yea!!!
Linda, I think we may have the same problem, not much coming out of Poteet #1 the last few months.
I think it was shut-in, taking awhile to come back I guess.
Not posting this because I want you to consider or not consider CR stock but because of the interesting part about the SCOOP.

Hutch, Do you think maybe the Poteet#1 may have been shut in,during the fracking of nine additional Poteets?
I would think that since the Poteet #1 was drilled by CR as was the rest of the Poteets that they would probably shut it in while they were fracing the other Poteets. However, since the Jerrod was a Newfield well it may not have been shut in while the fracing went on for the Poteets. We were told that the fracing killed the Jerrod not that it was “shut in” while the fracing was going on. I don’t know, I’ll just glad it’s coming back!
Yep, I’m sure that didn’t help any of them. Hubby said “the best well is probably the last well fraced”. That may be right! lol
Dale, I think it was but hoping it was back in business. It has been producing a small amount of gas but not in paying quantities for small acreage owners like me.
Linda, I guess that makes us even, we lost a few months production after they fracked the Branch’s.
