We are interested in talking to a good oil & gas attorney about our mineral interest. Our interest is in Garvin county but we live in Duncan. Has anyone had any dealings with a good attorney in Duncan?
Pamela, I sent you a friend request so I can send you a message. I might be able to point you to a few in Duncan depending on what you are trying to do.
Pam, did your mom get her DO’s?
I hope it goes well for you guys, Pam. I would pursue it. Sure seems like a long time comin but it will be worth waiting for considering the amt. of acres involved. Good luck. Give your mom my love
What is a Blanchard Interest? How does it differ from a royalty interest?
Cool video, Michael. There were also some good ones on the right hand side of the screen.
Yes, Vicki she did. However, we were very upset that they sent it to the assisted living address instead of my home address. (Don’t have a clue how they even got that address.) Our main problem stems back to the inlaw that I discussed with you previously. I know if we pursue this, it will delay that check but it may be worth it further down the line & future for my kids & grandkids.
M. Barnes, my VERY extended family is primary stakeholder of an undivided 240 nma in S21,2N5W, my share being under 10nma. I understand that you have interests in S16,2N5W. If you will friend me, I will impart what I recently learned about the 2 sections from NFX which you perhaps already know. You may re-disseminate as you wish.
I woulk like to express my appreciation for Bruce having created this Forum.

Thank you all so much for providing me with so much beneficial information. I am new to the mineral rights ownership game. I have primarily been just a gleaner of your combined professional knowledge and business acumen and EVERYONE’s contributions. I have learned so much here.
To M. Barnes and others, thank you especially for all those geological charts and maps, spreadsheets, etc. Pictures are great.
I was one of those who leased without knowing how to negotiate it. Afterward, I found MRF. If I am ever in the position to lease again, thanks to you all, It will be from a much stronger negotiating position than the first time.
We have received three comparable offers on Sec. 16 3N 5W, one from an independent landman gathering leases for Newfield, one from an independent landman gathering leases for Continental, and one from a small independent who plans to hold the lease as a working interest. Is there any particular advantage or disadvantage to leasing to the latter of the three?
P.S. We have just received a copy of the Authorization for Expenditure, so we’re thinking it’s pretty likely that there will be drilling within the next year.
Rcvd Certified ltr last Saturday(because I filed a Joint Tenancy remaindermen affadavit last year).

If this has been previously posted, sorry, but I didn’t see anything.
I am presently ‘held’ by lease by CLR.
That’s great news. I will pass it along to my relatives. Thanks.
Anyone heard anything on the Hatchet 1H-33XR?
Good afternoon everyone! Has anyone got division orders from Marathon on the 1-19 HK-DOOM in section 19 1S 4W? I spoke with Marathon a couple of weeks ago; and she said sometime in May or June. Well May is almost gone…
R and Karen,
Good news on 16 & 21, 2N-5W. Progress is coming. I think this well may have more gas than oil, so keep that in mind in your calculations. Make sure you get a good lease and good Exhibit A.
