Isn’t the Doyle in 2n4w?
Correction to my last comment. I am looking for any production information for the Doyle (1H-21X) in Section 16 NOT Section 19. Thanks.
Thanks for the info Ron. Also Linda my mistake it is in 2n4w. Does anyone know where I may be able to find the oil production numbers for 2016 by month? I have November and December 2015. I’m trying to see how quickly the well is declining. Total barrels per month. THANKS!

It is listed under Search By Legal 28 02n 04w
Oil is up good again this morning with WTI over $51. and Brent over $53. Natural gas is also up to about $3.76 last I checked. God is Good!
Our leases in sections 4 and 5 1N 6W, and section 33 2N 6W expire this month (Bearcat Land, for Continental). We’ve heard nothing about interest in renewing. Have any of you seen recent interest in that area?
Hello everyone!
Can anyone give me some information on how to go about collecting for shut-in wells; or what options do you have when the oil company you are HBP decided to plug or shut it the producing wells within the unitization? Some have been shut-in for future production for over 12 years. This is so challenging because I inherited royalties in unitizations that have been completely plugged or shut-it and there are plenty of resources in that area to be tapped into such as the Woodford which has not been unitized as of yet for Section 14 1S 5W. Seems the gas and oil company just keep a trickle of oil and gas going just to keep you tied up. What can be done about that? Is there anyway to address this? I thought the only way to make it work out for the royalty owner is to collect the $50.00 per well per year as stated in my lease. Any suggestions?
Soonerpe,
In response to your post on 09/21 about the Velma Reclaim Plant located in section 13 1S 5W. I was just wondering about it because it shows they leased the whole section and they had a PUN for that section. Section 13 1S 5W is also a part of a couple of unitizations that I have an interest in because the production from the units are suppose be gathered and combined with the other unit production to create your pay. I am assuming that they only had to pay the surface owners in that section. Does that sound about right?
This evening we decided to make a trip to see if a location was being built for the new purposed well which is to be padded on the SE corner of 22 and go through 27 2n4w and 1/2 way through 34 2n4w for the “In My Dreams” well. We saw nothing that looked like they have started on that. It was a little disappointing but I guess we are rushing them. We did see some Siecmac signs along highway 29 from about sec. 18 west about a couple of miles and then saw another one which was still headed west into probably 2n5w. Didn’t see any signs as to where the activity stops. Didn’t see any equipment only the signs. One thing I didn’t like seeing were the big wind turbins (sp? I guess that what they are called)that produce electricity all along the north border of what looks to be 2n4w and going for miles west. It was really a windy day and none of them were turning. Don’t know whether they hadn’t got them hooked up to run yet or whether they had produced all they wanted them to as the last few days have been windy. Maybe since they don’t help mineral owners a bit they might at least make our electric bills come down. They are getting to be a huge amount of those things in Oklahoma about any direction you go now days! I’m thinking there may be a lot of birds killed by those things. Maybe Peta will put a stop to them in the future…and maybe that’s wishful thinking.
Linda, I used to share your opinion about wind turbines and particularly during NextEra negotiations installing 3 on a pristine native grass pasture of mine. In fact, I said no for a year before we reached a financial and location agreement. Now there are 180 turbines across northern Grady and Caddo counties with a plan to add 65 more. Let’s talk about the positives. Increased tax base of these installations allowed for a bond issue to pass resulting in a new High School and Auditorium in Minco which would never have happened without the Wind Farm. Land (surface) owners have probably received $1.5 million a year in easement fees which goes right back into the local economy. The only real complaints have been from those that did not get a turbine(s) on their land. No, I would not live underneath a wind turbine because of the noise and flicker but have seen deer on many occasions bed down within the radius of the blades so wildlife adapts. I am sure bird kills happen but my personal experience is that I have not seen a single dead bird in three years anywhere near our three turbines. One gets used to seeing wind turbines and have not heard any real complaints from local residents regarding appearance. What I have heard is complements about how beautiful it is at night with 100+ red aviation beacons on the top of the turbines blink all at the same time for as far as the eye can see.
I’m sure I would feel differently if I owned the land where the turbines are located. The main complaint I have heard is from oil companies who say it’s not right that they receive tax incentives that are not given to the oil companies. But, I was just blowing about them because I don’t really care much one way or another. I don’t even know if they DO kill birds or not I had only heard that on TV some time or another. Your comment about the deer laying near them is the same thing I said about the locations where some of the wells are on Section 21 2n4w. While the guy we referred to as the deer man didn’t want any drilling started on his sections because he wanted to protect the deer and he has up no hunting signs all over sections 27, 34 in 2n4w and 3 in 1n4w down there. I was amused seeing several deer at a time walking in and grazing around those locations. I said I guess they feel safer knowing the hunters won’t shoot at them if they are close to the tank batteries. lol They did have a man on TV that said he was having to move because they put up the wind turbines and a what ever you call their compressor type station so close to him the sound drove him crazy. I wouldn’t want to live close to them or the wells with their compressor stations either. I guess they are the coming thing though so guess we better learn to adjust. Yes, it is quite a sight to see the light show on the ones they have put on the ones near I 35.
I’m at it again…not proof reading before posting so please excuse all the type 0’s. I’m too lazy to type it all over again.
Any activity north of you (sect 16,2N4W) Linda? NFX is supposed to drill another springer well on one of the Wright well pads.
Padded in north end of 16 and drilled north through 9.
John, we really didn’t go that far north off of highway 29 and it wasn’t dark when we came back so could see no lights. Didn’t know they were supposed to do that or I would have checked. Is it going to be padded in section 16 and go north or going to be padded in 9 2n4w?
Will check on it if we make another trip south soon.
Yes, Don, I believe your direction are correct where the pad for the Mark will be (just west of highway 76 and south of the intersection with 29).
Linda, each section is a mile square so it would be about 6 miles to the west
Thanks Hutch…I’ll be checking on it for Barbara.
