Michael - In your case NFX is probably using the Unitization Process similar to what they are also doing within Sections 1 and 12 in 02N 04W where they are going to drill five (5) 10,000 ft. lateral wells with the surface locations being in Section 13, and I would think that the main advantage is that both Section 14 and Section 23 share “equally” no matter where the respective laterals end (meaning even if “short”) as opposed to multi-unit wells which determine which Section is allocated their respective portion of a well by how much of said lateral is actually within each Section.
