Hey Buzz, can you tell me when they know how much a well is gonna produce? my dad is waiting on pipeline, 389 33564, well is dug and im assuming its been fracked. how does that process work? We figured out that we’re pretty much gonna have to wait til the check comes. How soon during the process does petrohawk know what they have on their hands? Thanks
Lori – I believe more than what you describe is involved. That 389’ you describe may be the length of the line from the wellhead to your property/section line. Later – Buzz
BUZZ—My post of April 12-----“Buzz—first time poster—what happens to a “shut-in” well when the lease runs out? Our lease with Petrohawk/BHP will be up in June. 6.1 miles NW of Toyah A-1530, BLK 58, Sec 47 been told waiting on pipeline??”
Today I received an easement and right of way agreement for utilities and pipeline----sounds like some action finally???
Lori
Buzz: it’s mostly referring to the small (389 feet ) worth of pipe running from frac pond to the point of termination at survey/lease line but I will study the agreement in more detail. 30 foot easement is proposed if that gives you any info.
Gwen – I’m sorry that I don’t have experience on how to evaluate HBP situations. Later – Buzz PS - I did enjoy a week’s vacation but ir seems I will never catch up!
jw – EOG Resources’s 6,769 acre ‘Harrison Ranch 56’ lease begins ~3 miles south of your A-3035. Getting very interesting in your area. Later – Buzz
jw – on 7-11-13 Energen Resources spud the TINSDALE UNIT 56-8 #1H, A-3984, PSL BLK 56 SEC 8, ~3 mi S of you, west of and adjacent to EOG’s Harrison Ranch 56 lease. Later – Buzz
Apologies if already posted somewhere here, but in EOG’s presentation do July 9th they show their third well, the Apache State 57 #1101H, Upper Zone as having IP’d at 815 bo, 600 bps NGL’s + 3.8 mmcf/d.
I see that a number of the members still want to be able to look at a survey map of Reeves County. Earlier I posted that I would send them an image of the 1945 Reeves County Survey Map showing all the blocks and sections. Quite a few have requested the map. I have a map, but I think that it would be a good idea to post a link on this forum’s main page so anyone can easily download a Reeves County Survey map. Is this possible? It doesn’t replace the RRC maps or even the one on Land office web site, but having one in hand allows you to easily get an overall perspective and helps navigate around the RRC map. I am still willing to send anyone a image of the map if you email me at donnylh@yahoo.com with a request. It gets time consuming to do this, thus the reason for my asking it it is possible to post a link to a map here.

Stephen – that’s 2,048 barrels of oil equivalent per day from the Upper Wolfcamp. They’re presently drilling the fourth well, spud 6/14/13, the HARRISON RANCH 56 #1401H, 16 miles S of Orla and 4 or 5 miles SW of the APACHE STATE 57 #1101H. Very interesting. Later – Buzz
The well is around 6-7 miles west of a couple of tracts I have in 54/4, so I am hoping the trend eastward continues in the U Wolfcamp…especially with the tracts coming up for lease in about 90 days!
Stephen – the second HARRISON RANCH well is in the middle Wolfcamp. Good Luck. Later – Buzz
Stephen, our May royalty included NGL at $1.39 per gallon, before costs.
Lori, Any word on how your well tested before they shut it in? Took Petrohawk about 6 months to hook up a well drilled on us near Pecos.
I wonder what the price is for NGL’s currently? Any clue?
Along with JW I also have mineral interest in A3035-A3036 all the interest in that area does look good.
Garland
Thank you, Paul. Our first production south of Pecos does not list NGL’s, just oil and gas. Which brings up the question of where and under what situation, do NGL’s show up?
Paul – I guess that $.42 includes severance tax too?
Thanks for sharing. Later – Buzz
Stephen, it wasn’t until our third check that we saw NGL’s. Can’t answer question about what situation.
Buzz I think I prefer $105 per barrel!~! Is NGL the same thing they used to refer to as Drip Gas?
