Thanks for info Buzz!
DCole - going by your location ~15+ miles SE of Pecos and ~7+ miles west of the river, from what I have heard and read I donât believe wells in your area are/were underwater. The further north you go in Reeves, the more severe, i.e., especially Pecos north and around Orla. However, that doesnât mean there wasnât water damage in your area last week and over the weekend. just sent a picture to Rusty and he said that in the picture with the two guys, they are throwing food to rig hands that were stranded out on a rig with no where to go. LOL. Apparently that is Resoluteâs lease road.
Does anyone have a name or contact info for anyone with resolute in Pecos or Midland?

just checked your A-1411. Appears to be section 20 PSL C-17. Cimarex leased our acreage to the north and West of you at $3000 per acre earlier this year. Iâm sure you could get $3500 to 4k today. Call Debra Harris or Cody Elliot at 432-571-7806. good luck.
Keep getting calls from land men to purchase my 15 mineral acres A1411 last offer $ 100 thousand , but no action as far as drilling, think something going on. Currently under lease til November 2014 , lease off cr road 413

ronnie - 100k for 15 net minerals is only $6,666.00 per acre. a few months ago they were selling for $9000.00 per acre. also, something to think about, depending on where your acreage is, you can get anywhere from $3500/acre to $5000/acre. On top of that, youâd get royalty money so youâd make a lot more in the long run if you hold on to them and just negotiate a good lease.
Those of you being leased by BHP May find this link Interesting --published on 9/26 KD
Thanks Wade
We signed a lease with them in culberson around 2011 and found out later they sold the company to concho aka COG. They may have kept the company around to buy leases with. Dig deeper to see if they are a subsidiary.
Does anybody know anything about the company OGX LP? My dad signed a lease with them last week. I did a search on here and nothing showed up. I googled it and found that it incorporated in 2011. Its based in Midland. I was just curious if anybody has heard anything the company. Thanks.
Thanks for the BHP link KerryâŚsound promising. We just finalized a 2yr extension with them (Block 4 Section 61 389-33400) unfortunately I donât see any evidence of a new well permit. The last one was approved in july 2012. My understanding is that they are only good for 2 years so that permit has now lapsed? What is the lag time for a new permit (or can an old permit be renewed?) to show up on the RR GPS site?
Quick question is 4000 MCF = to 4000000 cf Am I understanding this correctly? KD
On the subject of BHP, Iâm in 9 wells with them and 4 have been shut-in and of the remainder only one is producing oil. The rest are only producing gas and liquids. Why would BHP produce these expensive wells in this manner? You would think they would be producing the oil also.
Where are they located? Just west and north west from Pecos?
