Buzz, thanks. It makes sense as we are the section just north of 22, and the array proposal I have shows the radials centered on the north part of section 31.
I hate to ask but for almost a year now I have been waiting to see what or if any oil or gas was found in well 389-33382, it is next door to where I have a small area. keep checking on map and see no change in status. Thanks if anyone knows.
What is the going royalty number for salt water disposal wells please? Looks like there is a new permit on us, but I am yet to hear from the operator and I have never dealt with a SWD well agreement.
I have my land leased and have a well permitted by the state. Now another company is wanting to talk to me about doing some work on the north side. I haven"t answered yet. Just wondering what kind of work are they interested in doing? Well hasnāt been started drilling as far as I know. I saw that this company leased the land next to my section. If anyone has any information, please help me as I am wanting to be knowledgeable when I return the call. Also, another company sent me a letter wanting to buy my property for a lot of money. If you can help or know of someone, please send that information to me.
Thanks,
Louise
No mention in the lease, but thx.
Stephen, Check your lease to make sure they have not already been given the right to do a SWD well.
As of Sunday I have a small tract open for lease. Sect 300, Block 13 H&GN, just west of all of Concho Resources many diagonal HZ wells (and25-30 miles south of Pecos). Really strangeā¦Clayton Williams failed to send the bonus check for the extension, having told me eight days earlier that they were sending it. Iām confusedā¦
I talked with a landman today who said he had heard that Williams had not paid two year extension bonuses to several others. But why say they were sending it? Still confusedā¦

I would urge caution in dealing with Cimarex. Just had them withdraw an offer on a tract where we were down to negotiating small changes on the final form of a lease. Meanwhile, the owners had turned down several other offers that came in while we were pursuing the lease with Cimarex, in the assumption a deal would go through. Apparently, Cimarex feels no obligation. Unfortunate, because I know they are a major player in the area.
Does anyone know of any leasing activity for the area South of Toyah ā BLK: C-8, Tract: 6, AB 2395 SEC 6 PSL out W/S?
Thanks,
John
Wade,
Could you share the location of the tract for which Cimarex recently backed out?

John ā Iām not familiar with recent leasing activity just south of Toyah but things are heating up east and northeast of Toyah. In the area you describe I wouldnāt be surprised if BHP/Petrohawk didnāt exercise the two-year option and let/will let a number of leases expire at the end of their 3-year primary term. Later ā Buzz
I spoke to BHP late last week and they are exerciseing their 2 year option on our property 57-3 44 & 57-3 46 A-3035 & 3036. Good news.

~~ the Permian remains an exciting area for BHP Billiton. āWe increased our position within our focus area* in the Permian by 25 per cent in the 2014 financial year and remain on track to build a 100 kboe/d business by the end of the 2018 financial year. The well results to date are positive and repeatable and there is additional upside to the development program given our longer-term outlook...
* BHPās Reeves drilling focus the last year has been in an area around Orla in far northern Reeves County, e.g., the last 34 wells permitted surrounded Orla with 30 of those being within 10 miles N-S-E-W.
Also note the referenced Black Hawk Field is in the Eagle Ford Shale, south of San Antonio.
