In the following posts I’m going to ‘try’ to list all the results of the General Land Office (GLO) July 1, 2014 Sealed Bid Sale, Reeves County results only. FTI, the following entities made bids, although all were not successful. All properties had a minimum acceptable bid (bonus), so on some receiving no bid maybe the minimum was set too… mind you, not trying to second-guess the GLO here, which has more experience on going lease bonuses than any of us here. Stephen –- no Culberson tracts in the sale. However, there were two (2) tracts in Reeves County (noted below), 17 or so miles WNW of Toyah that border Culberson. Later – Buzz

Susan – drilling activity-wise… currently BHP has 5 rigs running in north Reeves County (and has for a while), ‘x’ miles from Orla: 1.7 SW; 8 W; 1.7 SW; 1.6 SW & 3.8 SW. In addition, they have 14 undrilled permits in all directions from Orla and 2 requests in waiting. So, they are seriously drilling in the area.
