Hello…I am new to website. Trying to find out about a lease offer in McClain S 5N 4W. 3 year lease $3500 per acre, 3/16. Is this a reasonable offer?
Maybe, maybe not. Ask for what they are offering for 1/5th and 1/4th. 3/16ths is low. What section? 5? The terms of the lease are the most important. The first lease they send you is going to need some negotiation and an Exhibit A to protect you with better clauses. I usually stall a bit as lease offers tend to go up over time.
