JC, I wrote her and told her you were trying to reach her. Maybe that helped:)

Reason oil price is low: China is buying cheap oil for SPR http://www.businessinsider.com/chinas-oil-thirst-2016-7

"This year has shown a significant pickup in China’s crude imports amid the decline in oil prices and robust demand from independent refiners. …global demand for goods from the world’s second-largest economy remained sluggish. But oil imports crept higher in July as appetite for foreign crude continued to rise. ~Morningstar Market Watch

Good news in OK Energy Today states that a new pipeline will carry light sweet crude from OK to the Valero Refinery in Memphis, TN. Light, sweet crudes produce high yields of high-value products like jet fuel. Valero operates a pipeline straight to the Memphis Airport where Fedex, the world’s largest airline, is located.

More good news: Looks like TX, ND, OK & other states suing the EPA has gained the DOA’s attention.

Jimmy, They can keep filing over and over again until they are ready to drill, or they may be ready to drill right now. Continuous filing of the increased density and location exceptions conserves time, expenses and decreases contestation of the laterals. Prior to drilling, you will be mailed a spacing order, then you can look on OCC website for the drilling permits. What’s your legal. Sorry, I forgot.

Martha, a quick question (I’m also waiting on answer from White Star Owner Relations). The first two wells I’m receiving royalties on have been paying for several months. All’s well with them and the two newer ones. I looked at OCC’s Monday Docket and the first two wells are up again for Increased Density and two Location Exceptions. Could that mean they are planning to drill new laterals? Thanks much Jimmy

Thanks Martha

I check the OCC website almost every day. I will be on lookout for Drilling permits and spacing orders. Hopefully Laura with WS Owner Relations will get back and give me more specific info.

Thanks

much!

good morning Martha. Hope you had a Merry Christmas. I have another “rookie” question: Several of my wells are not producing anywhere near the initial report. Of course I realize that is probably a natural occurrence. However, do companies keep the barrels per day production low while the price is low? And the big question is; as the price rises, can they speed up the pump jack to produce more barrels per day? Thanks for any info. Regards, Jimmy

Hi all. Hopefully you don’t get tired of answering the same type of questions repeatedly. I did look thru archives and didn’t find anything about my question. My sister and I own mineral rights in section 12-R19-04E. We signed 3 year leases with AEP-Woodford, LLC in Nov of 2014. Since Mr. McClendon’s death and the dissolution (I think) of AEP, what is happening? Neither of us has received any news. Thanks for any info.

FYI: I didn’t get Kerry’s post, so if Kerry needs my info she may have to friend me also.

Hi Kerry. My AEP-Woodford rights became White Star. Been getting royalty checks like clockwork. Suggest you email Laura Sterkel at White Star Owner Relations. Good lady and excellent customer service.

Good morning Jimmy, I am not getting your posts. Friend me and see if that helps. The site has had trouble with this before, but it’s getting worse.

Now, to answer your Dec 30th question: Both, well production does naturally fall off after a few years and they are keeping production down so as not to flood the market with oil and gas which would cause the prices of both to go down. Reports are indicating that the US will be exporting significantly more volumes of oil and gas by 2020 and continue to increase to 2026 and beyond. Prices will adjust to demand, but China has to stop burning coal or choke to death and India doesn’t have any o/g.

Why oil could go to $100 again soon. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-trump-oil-trade-and-why-oil-mi…
