Jimmy, Very good news and 2 formations can be drilled from the same pad. ECO-pad drilling 4 wells-2 formations from one pad cuts costs over 10%.

Thanks Martha. Still waiting on the Completion report for second well in the Woodford HOWEVER I think I just got more good news (let me know if I’m correct). Got notice of hearing to grant AEW’s application for Increased Density for two wells in the Mississippian in Sec 9! I assume that’s good since it will make a total of 4 with half in Woodford and half in Miss. Can they drill the Mississippian from the same platform as Woodford?? Thanks, JImmy
Jimmy, More good wells being drilled is great. WTI and Brent prices are almost coequal. Pipelines are carrying more oil out of Cushing. Good news for all.

Fred, If the minerals have always been in Linda’s name only you may have to go through probate to get title to the minerals. Devon has viewed the legal records and knows what they need according to your situation. Affidavit of heirship does not transfer title. An attorney can advise you for free, but will charge for the actual procedures. I’ve never used prepaid legal and caution the use.

I actually contacted Mr. McBride a couple of times and not only returned my calls rather quickly, he spent a fair amount of time on the phone with me at no charge. Perhaps he’s on vacation…a very nice man.
