Pawnee County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Has anyone heard any production rates thus far on the Jo Lynn 19 well,19-22N-3E IN Pawnee. We were told it wasn’t a very strong well and tested out at slightly over 100 BOE PER DAY. We are still working with the brokers on heirship changes. Hard to do from West Virginia. Any news would be helpful once again. It went on line October 26th. Thanx. Paul R.

ya’ll feeling those earthquakes around Sooner lake?

Pawnee: Red Fork (USA) Investments Inc.; Darwin No. 1-32H Well; NW1/4 NE1/4 NE1/4 NW1/4 (SL) of 32-20N-05E; 172 barrels oil per day, 238,000 cu-ft gas per day; TD 8,097.

Joseph, I have seen communitized as it relates to combining federal & private land for spacing/pooling needs when a well is proposed.

640 spacing is common for horizontal wells that have mile long laterals. As a mineral owner it would be better for us to have a vertical 160 or 320 but, the oil companies want to hold as much acreage as possible with the least number of wells required.

Pawnee: Red Fork (USA) Investments Inc.; Broken Hill No. 1-8H Well; SE1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4 (SL) of 08-20N-05E; 267 barrels oil per day, 70,000 cu-ft gas per day; TD 8,620.

Sec. 25-20N-8E, Pawnee Co., OK…Anything?

I would appreciate any report.

Paul, It’s listed as operated by Scissortail Energy, LLC, API # 35-117-23538. Completed in the Woodford 11/5/2013. Gas volumes:

10/13: 48 MCF

11/13: 813 MCF

1/14: 1,197 MCF

It’s completed as an oil well BUT, no oil sales released to public sources?

Has anyone heard if the Jo Lynn 19 EVER did at least 100 barrels a day last time we checked several months ago it tested out bout 100 but not enough gas to bother piping off.T hey were still having water issues and we are still going thru heirship stuff while devon holds are signing bonus and all production from Sept or Oct 29th pending a judicial hearing as we have one family member who still says he is sole heir so we have just been waiting and saving some lawyer money if its going to be worth it. Any info would be appreciated as before. Thanks to all Paul Ritchey

I forgot 19-22N-3E Thanks again

Joseph…I show the Schulze #1-32 vertical well, spud 7/2/14, CNWNWNW by Mt. Dora…TD proposed through the Wilcox so, they will have a look see of all the prospective formations in the area. No completion information YET.

Drill pad site is done and waiting on rig. It is not completed. Mt. Dora reps state that many more wells will be drilled in Pawnee County in the next year between Pawnee and Yale.

I’m new to this site…and am wondering if anyone can provide a bit more information: Over the past two years, I’ve been contacted by a oil & gas leasing firm out of Edmond, OK regarding their lease term offers on a 77 acre property in Section 20 (northeast of Terlton). They “anticipate drilling a horizontal well in this section soon”…and offer $150 per acre for a 3 year paid-up lease with a 3/16ths royalty (and, also, a 2 year option to extend @ $200 per acre. Does this sound like a reasonable offer…and, could anybody recommend the best (most trustworthy and highest paying) leasing companies?

Donald I need to know where where your interest is. s?-?n-?e

"Donald, $150/ac is too low. $2-300/ac is common. Now, depending on your location, $400 MAY be too high unless you have horizontal wells around you then $500/ac. If you own the surface, $10,000/surface location. Some are getting upwards of $20k per location.

Thanks Joseph Caesar ~ As also mentioned to Nick, this 77 acre (mineral rights only location) is located in Pawnee County near the Terlton Cemetary on Orchid Corner Road: (W/2 NE/4 20-T20N-R8E. Joseph, what would YOU suggest I do to access a higher offer for these mineral rights?

Thanks for your question, Ron McKenzie. This 77 acre (mineral rights only location) is located in Pawnee County near the Terlton Cemetary on Orchid Corner Road: (W/2 NE/4 20-T20N-R8E). Ron, what would you suggest I do to access a higher offer for these mineral rights?

Donald Here is what they were ordered to pay in the pooling for section 27.

http://imaging.occeweb.com/AP/Orders/occ5118558.pdf

Paper work has been started for wells in 15,21,22. There are permits for wells in 26,27,35. There is a pooling pending for 28. McLinn is leasing for BG Energy. I would not give them an option to extend the lease.I would want a depth clause, limit on shut in royalty clause and no warranty of title expressed or implied. You don’t have to lease all at one time or take one option.

Thanks Nick…for this info. This 77 acre (mineral rights only location) is located in Pawnee County near the Terlton Cemetary on Orchid Corner Road: (W/2 NE/4 20-T20N-R8E. Nick, what would you suggest I do to access a higher offer for these mineral rights?

Donald, you tell the offering company that you need whatever amount you need per acre to be pleased with the deal. The risk you take is that they don’t want to pay more & walk until they think you have waited long enough … Their first offer is never their best offer.
