Marshall County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

In the pooling in 5s-4e they were ordered to offer more. In section 8-5s-4e XTO was ordered to offer $950 for 1/8th , 900 for 3/16th 150 for 1/5th or 100 and 1/4th . That was in March. They were ordered to offer more in 5s-4e & 4s-4e The terms of the lease are also very important .

Thanks for responding, Mr. McKenzie. It’s good to know a bit more about the going rate for bonuses around the section where I have rights. I will pay attention to the lease terms as well - I’m reading as much as I can online about them. One further question: when you say ‘ordered’, who did the ordering? Thanks again for your help.

I see - thanks. The RD Williams guy didn’t mention anything about pooling when he made the renewal offer, so I assumed there wasn’t a pooling order in force. I will use the OCC’s website to try to find out whether there is, just in case. Thank you again - this is very helpful info and advice for a newcomer to get!

No pooling on 11 yet .

Most of my mineral interest is in Caddo Co, Okla, N. Dakota, and Michigan. I’m divesting the interest in N. Dakota, Michigan, & Marshall County because my young adult children don’t have an interest. If you have an interest in the mineral tracts below or the other states, please contact me. Thank you.

I would like to sell two small mineral tracts.

The Mercer wells are located in the far North Central part of Marshall Co.

The SHL (Surface location) of the Mercer wells is located in Sec. 31-4S-5E Marshall Co., the BHL (Bottom Hole Locations) are in Sec.30-4S-5E Johnston Co. Oklahoma.

What part of Marshall Co. are the Mercer wells located?

David, you are correct that Marshall Co. is the smallest county in Oklahoma.

Don,

We have a well in Carter Co that had a Gas Lift installed, but the production was hit and miss for a while, never getting back to it’s earlier numbers until this last check. The oil numbers where down and the gas numbers where up. I was beginning the think they may have to install a pump.

Still waiting on a permit, but have not seen any new Relief requests in some time. I was pretty surprised when XTO offered to buy my mineral interest a couple of months ago, so there must be something there.

Daniel, I got no royalty check from XTO this month and after my inquiry this is what they replied. Tom I contacted the field office because I showed that for Well 131299 CHAPMAN RANCH 03-31H30 and Well 131300 THOMPSON 01-31H had no production since 5/2012. It appears the wells were having compressor issues and the field stated that the Chapman Ranch was having gas lift as well as compressor issues that were being worked on beginning 7/16/2013 and they have sinced swabbed the compressor and the well had a cleanout on 10/17, so hopefully the well be be back up soon. Oddly enough, the Thompson was also having gas lift problems starting 7/17/2013 and as of right now, the well is completely down with “0” production. Please follow up in a month or two for status of wells.

Don,

Here are some plans for the VERONICA wells.

Ron,

All the wells have SPUD dates, but there are completion reports on any of the newer wells.

Daniel, any word on the progress of the Veronica wells? My son was by there today and he thinks that perhaps they are either beginning the fracking process of these wells or have completed the process.

Tom,

I had XTO offer to buy my mineral rights in 30 03S 03E. Highest offer I have ever received. Very interesting, as they already have the lease.

New permits issued:

Don, Both of those permits are for 4 additional wells each.
