Clint, how do I find out when drilling is started on my oil and gas rights in Lynn County? I am new to this and signed a three year lease recently. Is there a website I can watch? Frank

The best way to find out when drilling is to start on your minerals is to call the oil company/producer that has your minerals leased. Do you know if a permit has been approved for a well to be drilled on your minerals? And what is the Abstract, Block and Section numbers?

Thank you very much Clint. Block 20, Section 5 Lynn County and lease to Santo Petroleum. Only monies received now is the original signing of the lease. Trying to find out about the Fed. Income Taxes of this whole situation. Frank

I don’t see any activity going on in the area of your minerals or the surrounding area at this time. Section 5 consists of 2 Abstract numbers. The north half of Section 5 is in Lubbock County (A-427) and the south half of Section 5 is in Lynn County (A-440).
