It is possible to drill out of the same hole using “smart completions” but usually done with vertical wells where they can put parallel completion strings in a hole. They can also do stacked completions with sliding sleeves for a single completion string to complete one zone then another or to comingle two zones. With horizontals, they are more likely to use the same pad, but different holes due to the complexity ad the fracking. They can also co-mingle two zones on a horizontal, but they are usually very close to each other in the start column .

KJ----this isn’t Cathy but----pull up the Osage Development home page and read their explanation of why it is taking a little longer to get some of these wells completed. They have drilled a lot of wells and the 3-phase power isn’t available for the pumps and there has to be some way to get the gas to a common point. It will happen, but it’s going to take some time.
Kj, in the beginning is the word, and the word is research, which this we in particular, is mostly about I believe they are looking at any and all results very carefully, for future exploration and developement Another thing to pnder, they do not lay new pipeline and electrical grids without good reason. Hang in there, and realize the offers purhasing our mineral rights are increasing.
KJ, depends which formation and if you had multiple laterals or not. Usually about 120K-160K barrels of fluid. Could still be “flowing back” if OG&E or whomever is supplying power is too busy from other wells or is behind from the tornado recovery efforts. In order to be “pumping” they need the a lot of power to keep the ESP and other pumps and equipment going.
Will we see 150? You bet.
db----having beautiful weather here in the Osage hills, even getting our share of rain. Is their anything going on in your pasture that would be of interest to anybody? Especialy me. Thank you.
If a well takes more than tree months to “flow back” something must be wrong. I don’t much care for non-truth. “its not worth pumping” “we don’t need the revenue” “oops, we have a hole in the ground that we don’t know what to do with” would be better than “flow back”. Good lord how much fluid could they have put in the ground that would take well over three months to recover? I just don’t understand.
Well, Isn’t Cathy, here is my take and as usual, I give it for free and with a grin, the market price of crude has been fluxerating betwixt 103 and 110, barely caressing but not accepting $110.00. When it hits and goes beyond 110.00 so the market knows it is 110, it will quickly skyrocket and very quickly at that. This is when we will see what Osage wants us to see. Belive you me that Osage wants to make this info public and it will happen, or I am a monkey’s uncle.
Great show on the increased density woodford wells in Section 31-T19N-R2W. haven’t seen the one yet for the 4WH yet but guessing its similar.

20-17n-3w ,pulling oil off location now ,flaring off the gas
Another great Woodford completion to add to the list by Devon. Section 15-T18N-R2W.

There is a woodford well in 10 that tested 301BOD**

Glad to see Logan Counties Woodford activity on the map. On the list with hot areas in the scoop as well. 400 planned wells it sounds like. Great news for the area.

Do you have any info on the missippi in section 10-18n-2w.
Thanks Ron, there are three wells in section 10-18n-2w. Elaine 10mh-18n-2w, 15wh-18n-2w and Elaine SWD 10-18n-2w. I was curious about the 10mh if production has been listed yet.
Mineral Steve, just curious where the Nemaha Ridge project is located? Is there a map showing this?
Thanks for the article!!
Is it not logical to realize that a test is only a TEST and wmhile some are high ib bod numbersn as time changes everything THE OUTPUT.MANY TIMES GOES upp and way up. Many factors play in output including earthquakes both local and as far away as Japan air pressure and your puppies girl friend.
Anybody have production figures for 31-20N-2W yet?
Was out there a few days ago and saw six storage tanks on the pad.
Thanks.
