Received Penterra Services letter stating Inheritance, SWN paid up O&G lease. Research using info from this site, found 5 year lease on parcels signed March 2024 with Antero (also SWN 2019 5 year lease with same party and parcels).

Questions: Can/would SWN then lease to Antero if I sign with them? Should I contact Antero?

I plan to use knowledge gained here to negotiate as terms of lease has standard 1/8 royalty and post production cost expense, $4500 net acre.

Jas, Please research more or contact an oil and gas attorney or an oil and gas professional. You will want to modify that lease with gross at wellhead, Pugh, Marcellus Depth clause, no General warranty, hold harmless, and more.
