Jackson County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Edgar, there has not been a word in any of the Oklahoma papers at this point. I have a close friend that still lives in Altus and generally keeps me informed, but other than the original radio & newspaper information, there has been no communication.

Thanks, Lee.

Jackson County OKs gas pipeline
ZEKE CAMPFIELD

Jackson County Commissioners this week approved two installation permits that would allow a Texas company to construct an underground pipeline and ship natural gas from several developed wells near Eldorado into Texas.

The permits along with right-of-way easements approved by several area landowners would allow Irving, Texas-based Medallion Midstream to begin construction of a pipeline in as little as two weeks.

Dana Amaya, vice president for business development at Medallion said initial plans are to build an eight-inch pipeline as well as a small processing plant in Hardeman County, with plans to expand as the economic conditions allow.

Some activity going on in Jackson County. GLB is drilling in Section 33 and Panther Eng is drilling in another section. Any body know where?

GLB ~ Braker 1 in SW4 SW/4 SW/4 Sec.33-T1S-R23W

INTENT TO DRILL

May 5th.

Jackson: Fulcrum Exploration LLC, L.R. Walls No. 1 Well, NE/4 SW/4 SW/4 NW/4 of 11-01N-20W, TD 2,000 feet.

I think Fulcrum is active in Tillman County. This location is adjacent to the old Humphreys shallow well field. At that depth if they aren't going down one of the old holes, they must feel confidence in something they have seen.

Fulcrum took over leases from Chance. They are shooting for shallow plays in the Cisco, Wash, Canyon. I don't know how far west they went. But they definetly leased to Section 9 1north 20west.

JTD Resources, 36-3N-23w, Des Moines (Granite Wash). Des Moines is what the companies in Washita, Beckham drill for. Lets hope this one hits the same kind of production numbers as up north.
