Henderson County, TX Oil & Gas Discussion archives

I have just noticed the Chesapeake Energy has spudded a well in the Girlie Caldwell (Goodland Lime) in Smith County, following Ned I in Henderson County last year. Is there any plan that you know of for another spud in Henderson Count in Girlie Caldwell

CHK completed that well in Smith County - it is a bit better than the Ned 1H but not great. All the data on completion and production is on Tx RRC site. Well was located NW of Tyler.

CHK is now actively trying to sell their Goodland position including the two productive wells (which are both uneconomic IMO if you look at any discounted ROI analysis). They were passing out flyers at Houston NAPE a few weeks ago looking for interested parties.

The following is a sponsored (paid) promotional notice:

If you own minerals in Texas or New Mexico, consider attending the NARO – Texas convention in San Antonio July 18-20, 2018. They have a great agenda, good speakers, and the cost is reasonable. This year also includes a special session for New Mexico mineral owners. The current agenda draft is attached, and a link to their signup and information page is http://www.naro-us.org/event-2824234
