Wayne, West Virginia here, there is an active well about 30 ft from my land. Do they have to pay if it’s that close to my land? I have my mineral rights but every time I call they give me the runaround. I’m also almost positive a gas pipeline is running under the corner of my land but they have told me it is not (even though I can see it). We are going to get surveyed soon but the county clerk said we should be getting royalties. We have owned the land for almost a decade.
How do I check all this to be sure? Also, if they owe us money, what can we do about it?
