Garvin County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Received an offer to lease from Freedom O&G for 19-1N-1E; 3/16 royalty, $450/acre bonus, 3 years.

CLR just pooled 28 in mid-September ($500 & 3/16). Jones (who I’ve never heard of) has pooling apps pending for 16 & 17 1N-1W on 640 spacing. CLR has done a lot of leasing in the west half of 1N-1E including 6, 16, 19, 22, 28 & 31.

Correction: I should have said operating update

Continental Resources to Announce Third Quarter 2013 Results on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 Earnings Conference Call Scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. CT

David, if they are not drilling on your mom’s royalty now they are very close with the Studdard which I believe is in Sec. 17 2n 3w and going through 20 and 29 which sits just to the west of her 28. That rig was still up yesterday but should be finishing up soon. That’s the direction they seem to be moving. Best Wishes!

Vicki it looks like the Studdard is close to my land. Where is you land located?

I’m doing some research for my mother Wanda Ramsey on some mineral rights, My great grand father was James Harrison Henson who was married to Martha Emily Birkes, just checking to see if their might be a relative on this site. On the Ramsey side my mother has mineral rights in 28 3-W 2-N.

David…Are you speaking of our good friend Wanda Ramsey who is married to Bill and lives in the Hughes Community? If so you might want to know that she was my husband’s first love according to him. He was a little boy (I think about four) and she was some years older (I don’t know exactly on this) and they would play together at his grandpa’s house (I believe). He thought she hung the moon. He loved her then and still does today (and so do I). I don’t know if she has relatives today in this area but she has a lot of brothers and sisters in Christ if that counts!

Linda, thanks for the update on the Studdard. Should be about time to wrap that one up in my opinion. Of course you know what they say about opinions…

Karla, I only hold mineral rights, not surface. I have royalty (mineral rights) in secs 17, 19, 20, 29, 32, 33, and 34 of 2N 3W. You’re in 17, where the Studdard was spudded in aren’t you? I think I recall you posting that on the forum, but they will only perforate in 20 & 29. Don’t be discouraged, I think there will be production from 17 @ some point.

You will be able to retire early!!!

Chesapeke has a well that has not hardly been producing and now they say it is shut in. If have opportunity would like the opportunity to release those minerals to someone else. Probably need to talk to an attorney.

Could be we are speaking of a different Wanda Ramsey but the last post would still be correct I believe.

David. NFX is getting ready to drill the Ferguson1-33H which will involve secs 28 and 33 2N 3W, but I can only assume that you already know that as there is a Wanda Bonaventura on the list of respondents that I have. It sounds like you are just looking for relatives. I saw several Ramseys listed as well.

Karla, hard to say for sure, but I think there is a strong possibility you could see some action in 3/3. Is that in the Antioch area? I don’t know my T/R well enough to know without a map.

I have undivided interest in 10 acers surface and minerals in 17, still trying to find out how many in section 7 3N 3W. Do you think they will make it that far north. I have a well with Merit that is producing.

Mark, 3N/4W is in Garvin Co.

Linda, Wanda Ramsey is the daughter of Clarence and Viola Ramsey I’m searching mineral interest on her mothers side James and Martha Henson. Wanda is married to John Bonaventura and lives in Las Vegas. She told me years ago that she had a lease with conoco and she lost the paper work.

Any talk of additional wells by Continental in Grady 3N 4W Section 29?

Or Newfield in Grady 3N 4W Section 33?
