I just talked to Continental and they told me they are waiting on title opinions from their attorneys to determine who to pay out for the Lang 1-20 well in section 20. Well, guess I gotta wait it out a lil longer. Until then, I gotta keep resisting them offers to sell my mineral rights. But it does get tempting to sell 10 acres@$8, 000 per acre!!! That must be a very good well out there in sec 20 3n 4w
Can anyone tell me what is going on with the Newfield well in 18 2n 3w?

Lynden No other filing by CLR in 4n-4w . We are in 30 and 31. Part of 31 was my G. granddadâs home place.
Anadarko had the wells in 30 &31 that we are under, and I think holds the deeper rights on most of it. McKenzie was his name also his place was in the w2sw4 we also have an interest in the s2ne4 . My other G Granddadâs place was in 1-3n-5w his name was Wood. Marathon and Blue Star have done some leasing in 31-4-4 . We are in 36-4n-5w that is where my Dad,s uncle lived they are pooling it now.
Yes it is Linda. I was thinking it is pretty close to your backyard. The map I have places Erin Springs in the four corners of 14, 15, 22 and 23. I will be interested to see the service list for the application or maybe I will have to wait until it is ruled on. I also wonder if CLR applied for spacing on any of the surrounding sections. 28 is one of the sections they cut a deal with Sheridan.
I saw your traffic pictures the other day and I noticed the roads still looked good but I was wondering what the others looked liked such as Garvin Paint Rd. Of course I remember when it was gravel or red dirt.
In the Co. records it looks like Anadarko set up a Co. and transferred their interest to it. Now what they do next I do not know. The new Co. has an interest in 36 4n-5w and it is being pooled so I guess we will see what happens there.
Ron, I have been baffled about no activity in 30 and 31 of 4N, 4W. they are not in the Hart or Springer units which looks to have been a delineation for drilling the Woodford so far. I am encouraged that there seems to be something going on in 36, 4N, 5W.
Did Sheridan or Anadarko have any holdings in 30 or 31? Are your holdings in 31 from your G. grandfather? What is his name?
Ron, you mentioned earlier that Anadarko had rights to drill below the existing producing wells that they sold to Merit in Section 30, 4N, 4W.
Since Anadarko is not active in Oklahoma at present, isnât it likely they will JV with an active driller like CLR or Newfield in a 640 acre multi well deal? That filing by CLR in Section 28, 4N, 4W is unusual, not clear about the 160 acres and the balance of the 640. Any explanation would be appreciated.

Thatâs right around where I traveled several months ago down the road to my friends house and there was either a well being drilled or a location being built on every section all the way to her house which is about 6 miles west off of highway 76 south of Lindsay. Can someone tell me if the well two sections east of there on Section 22 3n, 4w right off of the highway is the Gregory or Grergory named after my friend Marie G.? Whatever well it is it must be making a ship load of gas as the flare has been burning high. Too bad they have to waste gas on those wells. Be glad when they get the equipment/pipelines or whatever it takes to sell instead of burn that stuff! Hurry, Hurry DCP or whoever! Thatâs going to delay fracing the new wells according to Newfield.

Praying for rain but unless the Lord steps in to bless us with a lot of rain soon this untimely heat and drought along with the grasshoppers will kill everything around here even the fracing. Weather news around here says highs in the 90âs all week only a slight 10 percent chance of rain on Friday. I was asking Marie Gregory this morning if the well up by the highway was the Gregory named after her (because I know they drilled on her land and thought it was suppose to be called the Gregory) but she didnât understand what I ask and said "well somebody told me they named it the âŚMarie instead of the Gregory. (Now I canât remember what she said her first name is). Memory is terrible now days! But Lynden you are saying that the Gregory is padded on 21 not 22, right?

I now believe the well on 22 3n 4w is the Sublette (named after Jerry Sublette whose land it is on or I guess it could be after his wife Sharon or even one of the little Sublettes (haha nothing little about those young men. They could go hunting bear with a stick and give the bear the stick!!!)
I have to correct something I said before (how rare! lol). My friend Marie Gregory said the well named Vista Marie is the one that is named after her and is drilled on her land but the one named the Gregory thatâs on Section 28 is not on her land so she didnât know what Gregory had that land and who it is named after. Anybody know?
