I’ve been keeping a list of poolings in Garvin to help me negotiate lease terms. I brought it up to date and am sharing hoping others may find this helpful. Two versions, a spreadsheet so you can get in and sort it and a simple web page that shouldn’t require anything.
That happens pretty often. They leased and did not get the controlling acreage to be the operator. In these cases they may take a working interest in the well or assign the lease with compensation (cash or trade of like leases on area they control).
To add another twist to this one, Marathon filed the original spacing order and location exception on 33-3N-4W
For 25-3N-4W & 29-3N-4W: I don’t know why this pooling is re-done; they are two separate orders, the first had not come anywhere close to expiring. I am guessing that they found additional rights owners once they were doing subsequent title work when preparing division orders?
For 22-3N-4W this was just my error duplicating it (when I go to update the sheet a pooling that went from filed to ordered since my last update).
I don’t find the pooling for CLR you refer to; closest I found is 19-4N-5W which is Grady County so I didn’t include it.
We have some old production with Conoco for 27-2N-3W. Newfield did some seismic studys on the same lease. Does this mean they might drill a well at different depth. Any activity around my lease? Thanks
Debbie, we’re leased with Newfield in Sec. 33 2N-3W. I live out of state, so I was recently trying to figure out if there’s much activity in the lower part of the township. No permits have been filed in our Sec. 33 and we’re right by your Sec. 27. So far, I couldn’t come up with any. I’d love to know if you find out anything about activity, too.
David, The production reporting in Oklahoma is very haphazard. The OCC does not report oil at all. Some wells have up to date gas reporting some do not, same story with completion reports. Our gas gets reported but has been later and later each month.
You can get Gas production data from occeweb.com. Not really easy to find but it is there. The Oklahoma Tax commision has oil and gas records, but not online. Other than that 3rd party vendors through subscriptions.
4 North 4 West, sections 19,33 and 35. Does anyone know if Merit ever goes back in the wells already there and redrill with the new technology? I was hoping they would do some of that, or drill some new wells to get production up. Tom
Tom…We know a couple of guys that work for Merit out of this office and I was planning on asking him that question when I see them next but as luck would have it I haven’t seen them since I found out you wanted to know.
My aunt, Dad’s sister, passed away in her sleep last night after a long illness. No doubt in my mind she’s livin the good life now as she’s been a good Christian for a long long time! Appreciate all prayers for her kids and the rest of the family as she will be sorely missed. Loved That Sweet Lady!!!
