Tax commission still has Harrill 1, King 1, King 2-28, Lilly 1, Lilly 2(no prod last 12 mo), Sandford 1 (last prod 2016), Watson 1-28, 2-28 and 3-28 still active. Most have production in 2017. Which unit names? Does that help?
I wrote down the NE Purdy Sand Unit and I know there was a Hart sand unit too, but canāt remember the name.
Loy Martinā¦about what year did you sell the property? This has me curious now. I may have to take a quick look at tomorrow at the courthouse.
Sorry Lon, my Lon was actually Lonnie Martin 1876/1932 and he had no children.
J Paul, I took a quick look at the well records and previous poolings in that section. If I had to give a yes/no answer I would probably say no. Unless your parents/grandparents were really savvy when it came to leasing in the 80ās they probably did not do any depth clausesā¦sorry. Hope I am wrong
Tommy Martin: I am the Loy Martin you mention. I no longer own this property and donāt know why Iām still listed among owners. Both my grandfather and father had the name, Loy Martin, but neither, to my knowledge, had twin brothers. My father had only a sister and I have no siblings.
Darla, I think it is the New Hope Gibson Sd UT SE. That is what popped up when I put 2804N03W in the Unitization section of the OCC search engine.
Tommy, I did a quick look at the index for section 28, T4N R3W just looking for the Martin name. The only name I found was a C.D. Martin that owned a working interest in the Triad King No. 2-28 well. It does look like there was a lot of leasing in the 80āsā¦so maybe those units arenāt holding it all. Loy, I did not find where you sold any property this year in this section. My guess is that the Martins inherited their interest from someone that was not named Martinā¦or I just missed the deed to themā¦I was going quickly. I would ask the Land person how the Martins received their minerals (book/page/name), specific legal description and how much interest they own in that legal description.
Linda, they just spud that on Sept 16th. The original plans were to drill less than one and a half sections. Whitney 27-22MXH.
On a different subject, have you seen the rig in section 32 drilling into 29? It should be just past Bridwell corner. The wells are named Clydesdale, Rimrock is the operator and they are drilling a multi section Woodford and single section Goddard (Springer) and a single section Sycamore (Meramac).
They took the drilling rig down about 3 days ago that we could see from our front window on Section 27 4n4w and I heard they would start the fracing in about 10 days! Thatās really quick. Wouldnāt think they could get it ready that fast but they are doing things much faster these days. Seems like the rig was only up about 3 weeks but not sure about that.
Good Morning. I have a small piece of mineral rights in 4-2N-2W that I would like to lease. Does anyone know of anyone leasing in the area?
Kirk, I have a client who would probably take a lease in that section. I will friend you and give you my email. Please send me your exact legal description and what price you are looking for.
Where not were the next boom is. oops
Kirkā¦Iām not really familiar with that far east on the range. There doesnāt seem to be as much going on as in range 4W but again Iām not over there much. You never knowā¦that may be were the next boom is. When they started everything in 2n4w I didnāt think there was much going on up in Kingfisher Co. and Northern Grady, etc. and now with all that STACK stuff it seems to be the hottest. You could call Newfield, Continental (uses Jack Fork) or Marathon and ask if they are interested in leasing there. They seem to be the main ones around here.
Question, can anyone tell me what the going lease rate per acre is now in the Garvin county area?
Having a Section, Township and Range identified in your question will help get an answer Teresa. Some areas of the county are hot, some are goat pasture.
Does anyone know the going rate paid for pipeline damages/easements?
Sec 25& 36 2N & 3W is the area I am looking for lease info
Teresa, there have not been any poolings in that township since 2015, so all data is old. The last time 36 was pooled, it was $1500 3/16. If you are just getting lease offers now, the early ones are usually low to final ones. Always ask for more and get a good negotiated lease with no post production charges at all, no āenhancedā language.
Laura,
You might do a search on that topic on the forum. I have heard numbers posted here before but might be in other counties. I just canāt remember what they were running. You need to get an attorney involved for pipelines and easements to get a tight contract that protects your land.
What is everyone being offered in 4n-4w to lease/purchase?
