Thanks so much Rick Howell for that info. Maybe I will hear something one of these days.
The royalties are paid for the sections with the perforated intervals. It is possible to have the well pad, but no perfs on your section.
Iām sure not getting the offers from Expro like some of you. Iām in sections 7 & 8 2N 3W. I will say these guys are becoming more aggressive, meaning theyāre picking up the phone these days.
Have gotten multiple offers from Expro (as recently as yesterday) to sell in 19 2N3W for $15k per acre. There is only one well (The Williams1-19) and I only have 3/16. Had a guy from Echo call about a week ago and offered $8k, so yes, Rhonda, they are getting more aggressive. He was shocked that Expro had offered 15.
We have 80 acres at 13 1N1W with minerals available to lease down to 5,000.
Jim⦠Thereās this one: 23 Ferguson 1H-14X, Spud 9/14 S14 into S23
This well shows up in the Okla Tax Commission records. No production cited yet. I didnāt see any activity in the records. Thereās a lot of activity 2-4 miles west, centered around S20.
What is going on in 23-3N-4W. Not sure any drilling has occurred yet or if there is any production going on.
Mike, Thanks for the info. My wife has a small in in 23-3N-4W. I hope she gets something sometime. Oklahoma Unconventional LLC offered her 9500.00 per net acre back in November for her gas & oil rights.
The oil rig count in Cana Woodford is 38, down from 42 just one week ago. The gas rig count is 1, down from 59 in October of 2011.

Thanks Martha! I had a Landman track me down through my homeowners association on Friday. Then I was at my Dads house in Arkansas this weekend ( he died 3 years ago and address changes complete) and there were 2 offers in his old mail box dated from Feb. 10th. So I guessed something was up! I donāt own a lot but sure is good news.
My parents received a letter last week for $8,500/acre to purchase their MR. Not selling.
Anyone know what is going on in section 31 03n 04w? Iām getting nice offers to purchase. There is the RCL 1-31 well but something must be up.
Jennifer, most of the sections in that area will likely have five or more wells in them someday. Newfield has been ahead of the pack in doing the development infill drilling. Continental had such a huge leasehold, that they had to drill the first well in those sections to hold them. They will eventually come back and infill when the price gets better. For now, you are HBP, but hang on for some nice wells in the future.
I have seen an uptick in āoffers to buyā during the price downturn. They are hoping to get unsuspecting or uninformed people to turn over valuable acreage for low prices. Usually those offers are about half -or less- of what the minerals are worth.
Iām not selling! Either way it goes Iām keeping all of my holdings! My relatives held on since the 30ās, I feel like I owe it to them to see where this goes. So far itās been incredible.
Me too Jen, got an offer of $16,000/nma. Hanging in there.
My father had mineral interests in garvin county. I need to probate his will and need the legal descriptions. Can anyone help me on this?
Max,
The amount of work to find the legal description will depend on what documentation you already have. You also need to make sure residual property is addressed in the probate. Make sure your probate attorney is familiar with oil and gas properties.
Does anyone know the status of the big horizontal well newfield is drilling on section 17 and two other sections.
Hi Max what was your dadās name? I can do a quick search online and see if his name pops up. Regards, John
