levels=leveled

Linda, if you know where the Hines is, this pad is at the opposite (northwest) end of the section. My mother’s 1930’s wooden house sits on the top of the hill in the center above it, my grandparents were Albert Evans and Lydia Graham. The terraces that you can still see on the hill were made by Albert and his mule team. I was out there recently and didn’t see anything but a whole lot of smooth gravel. Do you ever wonder if they are going to “put it back like it was” when they are all done?

Sandra…sorry, none of these names are familiar to me but the locations they are using to drill on are being smoothed and levels when they finish with all of the drilling process with only the tank batteries, well head (Christmas Tree) etc. that they are using being all they leave (have not been having to use the pumping units (pump jacks to some) on the wells around here because of the high gas pressure) so it makes for a better looking location when the wells are on production. The only thing is with them drilling these multiple wells from pads on one section I’m afraid the land will never look the same when they are finished. Sad but true. The price of progress unfortunately is the changing of the countryside where so many childhood memories are made. The old abundant well sites are being cleaned up and some restored to parks, etc. but that will probably not happen in our life time to these new deep horizontal wells they are drilling (at least I hope they are not plugged and abundant during our life time if they are our wells, amen?).

p.s. I know some families named Evans and also Graham that live close in NE Stephens Co. but Albert and Lydia are not among them.

I want my wells to be “abundant”.

Rick, I left a comment for you on your page. When I clicked to post it, a message came up and my comments disappeared. Did you get them? If not I’ll post it here again later. Thanks!

Hutch— started to worry… You’ve been quite for a while!

I feel your pain, Hutch. Never had one but have “nursed” a lot of people through the recovery. Many have told me it’s the worst rehab they ever experienced. Hope you’re back to full range of motion soon! Glad you’re still among us. Karla, you back from Jamaica, mon?

Yeah, Hutch, you have to get better because who’ll pester me abundantly while you’re laid up eating Bon Bons! Abandon, Abundant, Potato, Patato! Get well you stinker!!! lol

hehehe…that’s better! Welcome back!

Nice to see Garvin forum show proof of life. Even if it is chit chat.

Can you feel the love?

Hey man! I’m back !

Hutch, I actually proof read a few lines of that post but stopped before getting to “plugged and abundant”. My secret is out! If you keep messin with me I’ll see if we can’t get your abundant wells plugged and abandoned! lol

Hutch, I thought you died.

Yes I do feel the love and appreciate your concern. Actually I do feel like I died.I got my second knee replacement last monday

Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Hang in there Hutch! You’ll feel better soon!

Ok, I’ll be nice.

You can tell I’m in a weakened state, no strength to fuss with you Linda. Night all, off to rehab in the morning. Goodnight Nurse Ratched.
