NARO supports the bill

Dear Rick,

I already know that the documents that I have in my possession are more than what is needed to get this taken care of at the court house in Garvin County. I know this for a fact.

Dear Kirk,

Was your oatmeal not warmed up sufficiently as a small child?

Why do you think that I have mineral rights in Michigan?

Holy jumping cans of radioactive tuna!

Charles, I saw that according to your profile that you live in Michigan (like I do) and made an assumption that you might, or at least thought I would ask. I have mineral rights up here and would like to connect with someone from Michigan to talk about oil in the area

Need someone who can answer a few questions for a beginner. Concerning the Covel 1H-28X. I see according to the OCC website there are 3 CDs pending and they have been continued once again until November! Does this mean everything is on hold until that time? I have seen some ground work being done but don’t understand what is the holdup.

We are selling our family farm in Sections 7 & 8 2N 3W in Garvin County. 252.69 acres, surface only. If you know of anuone who might be interested, please let me know. Located in Tabletop Mountains and is a beautiful place. It’s been in our family for years & years. If you know where Hideaway Hills is located, it’s the west of there.

Pam, I knew there was a hearing Monday but I didn’t know it had been continued again-especially til November. I don’t know what the problem is but I would assume that someone is protesting it. I was hoping like you guys that they were getting ready to drill since someone had mentioned work had been started on the location.

Well Charles, there are many hands in the proverbial pot when it comes to this farm and just one too many. :0) While we would love to hang onto it the family is unable to come together for a partition in kind and do not want to see it sold off in a sheriff’s sale. The last few years this property has brought too much pain and strife so we’ve agreed to sell it as a whole. :0(

Rhonda,

Are they drilling near you? Why do you want to sell the family farm?

Livestock issues? Fracking? Quality of water?

Marathon has started paper work for 5 more wells in 18-3n-4w . CD# 201404014

Let’s get those wells in 18-3n-4w going, Ron. I fear the president will use his pen and his phone to issue an executive order to curtail fracking soon. Really.

Received notice from Crutchmer & Barnes today that NFX is planning to drill a well w/SHL in 20 2N3W running North thru 17, 8 & 5 with payout divided 17-39%, 8-41%, and 5-20%. Nice.

Vicki, still being a novice at this, could you tell me what a 39% dividend means? Also, did you get the OCC filing of Newfield to drill a horizontal well in section17

? I got the notice 6/12. Again, being a novice, about how many barrels of oil does the average well produce monthly? Thanks

Mr. Campbell, I believe Ms. Fryar meant that the production attributed to each section would be the % amounts she mentioned. You will receive royalty only on the amount of production attributed to your section.

Gene, these are multi-unit wells. They drill a vertical hole to the desired depth and then turn horizontal and in this case drill into all or part of three sections. The payment of royalties is based on the footage of completion interval in each section. The owners in sec 17 will get 39% of the production and so on with the other 2 sections. These allocations are preliminary and will be finalized based on the measurements of the completed well.

Joe Gene, I’m not sure I understand your question asking if I got OCC filing to drill in 17. That was what I received from C&B law firm, as I am assuming you did, if you got a notice as well. That’s what I was referring to when I posted on Thur. What section(s) of the 3 do you have minerals in? How many barrels a month it will produce is a crap shoot. There are a lot of variables to that question that NFX would love to know before they spud in. Actually, they probably have an educated guess but if you can get em to disclose that amt you have a really good connection cause they don’t talk much.

Here is a picture of the well. It is hard to see, but look along the western border of the sections for a black line. Spuds in 20, then goes north through 17, then 8 and part of 5. They are going to the edge of the NE Purdy Unit. This is one of the longest horizontals to date.

Thanks for the information. I think you got me straightened out on this one.

M, thanks for the visual.
