Linda, you are right, I meant 17, 2N-3W, thanks for catching this.
I was hoping they were going to drill into this one rather than use it for a pad. I know they will in time, and I should not get ahead of myself !!!

So probably planning to extend lease in 17 2N 3W. It is up in May. Any idea who might end up being the operator? Mine is leased with XTO.
Karla, if what I just said was true I donât believe whoever drilled the first Williams well will have to release because it is held by production. I believe the one that was the operator on it was Newfield. But, if you have royalty on 17 you should be getting a check off of that well. Are you not?
Hutch, regarding 17, 2N-4W, are the wells being drilled in 17 for production in other sections? If not, has anyone heard any scuttlebutt about them drilling âIntoâ 17 for production ?
oops, sorry, I forgot I was on the Garvin Co. instead of Stephens when I posted the last one.
1099âs are sent for income you have already received. Does it have a $ amount and blanks for taxes etc. Did you have income for royalties, leases, rental property, anything like that? If not then I have no idea.
Hutch, do they send 1099S when they are going to extend lease or does this mean they are getting ready to drill?
Karla,
Do you mean a W-9? That is a form requesting your tax info, exact name, address, SS# or other ID#. They usually request this before they send you any $
Steven, I assume you are receiving checks for the Lang 1-20H which was completed in April '13. So far Continental has not made any applications for additional well. The completion report looked pretty good so there is probably a chance for more wells in the future.
The Williams 1-7 had SHL in 19 running North through 18 and 7 if I am correct, but I know there were no perfs in 19.
Karla, that is a tax form for supplemental income. You have to pay income tax on your lease bonus and/or royalty income.
Charlie, Vicki or anyoneâŚwasnât the first Williams well drilled on Section 17 2n3w with 17 getting the perforations and didnât it make a really good well? Then I was thinking that the Studdard was drill from 17 down through 20 and 29 but that 17 wasnât perforated and wonât share the money. Hope Iâm not all confused about this and if so Iâm sorry for confusing everyone else.
DavidâŚDonât know any thing about that one but Iâd say if it started producing in October that this month would be about a month early to get that check as they have been taking the full six months they are allowed before paying without penalty and sometime more. If you have a clear title and they are over that 6 months (I believe itâs from first sale) then be sure to apply to get the 12% interest retroactive back to first production. I donât believe they will volunteer to give it to you. Send them a written request and Hutch had to follow up with 2 or three phone calls before they sent it. Remember if you did have a title problem that could have held up the sending of the check in that 6 months that you will probably qualify to get 6% which is still more than you can get in any bank I know right now!
Oh thank you hatch approximately how long do you think it would normally take for them to make applications for a possible new wells??
Donât have a clue, it was 2 years for ours.
Karla (I meant âlease againâ instead of release as in let go. lol )
Rick or Linda, have you heard anything about the Davis well on 18-3N-4W? Mom has rights on section 7. Looks like it started producing in October. She is hoping for a check this month. Thereâs not a lot of info on the OCC site.
so, In everybody I know its been awhile Iâve been really really busy and havenât been able to pay any attention to the forum and any discussion about the oil wells in Oklahoma. I had a question, has anybody heard or know of any new updates that I should be aware about regarding my well in 20-3N-4W?I please help me out on any and all updated information on if any one knows how to find out if more wells are being discussed??
Linda, the first Williams well was the 1-19 that you and I drove by that time you âtook me out on the townâ. Funny, I donât remember where the SHL was without referencing back through paperwork and I just got home from work and am too tired for that tonight, but the Studdard had SHL to the East in 17 running South through 20 & 29 with no perfs in 17. You may be thinking about the well Tom Ed has been talking about, Williams 1-7 that made an extremely good well. I have minerals in 17 and wish they would drill into it w/perfs, but so far they have not.
Just received an offer to lease from RedSky for CLR for Garvin Sec 25 1n 02w. Offering 475.00 and 3/16 or 375.00 and 1/5. Anyone have any thoughts. I own very little- not even a full acre.
