Garvin County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Newfield’s application, will be heard by judge, on Feb. 10th for permission to drill the Mashburn 2H-33X, 3H-33X, 4H-33x,5H-33x and 6H-33X wells on Sec.33 3N-4W. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Also Newfield per Clint’s link is drilling the Ferguson 1H - 14X in 3N, 4W to spud in section 26 and run the length of 23 and 14 with a 50/50 split. What I like is that it breaks into both the Purdy Hart and the Springer units. I’ll have to check later to see if this is some of the acreage that Anadarko spun down back in June 2013. I hope they are dealing.

The Mashburns are good friends of ours and when the first Mashburn was drilled they were kind of iffy on whether they were going to like doing business with Newfield. They own the land where they are drilling but don’t own any of the mineral rights. Now they feel like some of the rest that’s it’s a great blessing! They don’t live on this land so they don’t have to worry about the traffic down there. I don’t think there is but one house down that road that I can think of so that shouldn’t bother too many. Best Wishes to all who own land or minerals for those wells!!!

I see that the Gregory 2H-28 (28-3N-4W) completion report (1002A) was on the OCC website yesterday (link below). Another humdinger at 602bopd and 7140 gas. Even better than the Gregory 1H-28. Can’t wait to see the report on the next 3 Gregory wells. God bless those Gregory’s.

Well good afternoon everybody… It’s been a great weather here in southern California freakishly hot if you ask me… Just checking in by reading comments and questions in this forum and wanted to ask if any news in my area has arrised with any news?? Has anyone heard from my cousin Gregory?? Well I hope no news is good news (^_-)

Richard…Guess that means you will be making more and more trips to the diggins? Congratulations in Advance!!!

Every once in a while you have to put your eyes on them to see the actual progress. I’m heading south to look at one in the morning. Hopefully they will be fracturing it.

Well Linda, I rode heard on 6 wells from spud to completion so with that experience of time lines in my hip pocket I may rely on the information Rick Howell gave me for reading the OCC web site and the Newfield Rig Locater and just sit in my easy chair and view the nest 5 wells thru my laptop. However, I can’t put that in concrete.

Hey Steven, don’t rub it in about that nice California weather. We’re having freezing rain and icy roads down here in Southeast Texas.

When needing a new will written and preferring a lawyer with oil and gas

mineral savvy, can anyone recommend a lawyer in Garvin Co.? Lawyer that made my last will has long since retired.

Richard,

I can hook you up in Duncan, OKC, Ardmore, and Norman if you don’t find something within Garvin Co.

Rick, If you would, hook me up with some one in Norman. We go there several times a month for lunch etc. We do go to Duncan but not as often but Duncan would be ok also.

Yes to both! There seems to be a lot of 66 grads in this

forum, but I don’t always know where they lived.

Gregory 3-H28 completion report posted today on OCC website. 525 bopd and 7381 gas.

Jackie…You were always so pretty~I was envious! I believe I heard you were a nurse, right? Such a small world! Since you sent a friend request we can talk more there.

Jackie Neill…Did you go to school in Lindsay? If so were you in my grad class of 66?

Jackie…I got to know your mom, O’Bell when I was selling real estate back around 1990. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. Was sorry about her passing several years ago. We lost mom in 1994 and dad only a few months ago at 93 years. They would have been so tickled about this recent oil boom and our good fortune which has been such a blessing!!! Glad to hear you and your family are in on it too:)

Rick, my family is looking for a lawyer referral also, they are in Lindsay and OKC, so either OKC or Norman would work well for us. I sent you a friend request if you want to reply directly.

I have lots of kinfolk around the Lindsay area. My mother was born in Erin Springs. I am kin to the Elmore and the Yarbrough families around Lindsay. I am hoping for good things in my 4 north 4west section 19. Tom

Boy, Tom, if you are kin to the Elmores and the Yarbrough’s you DO have a lot of relatives here!!!
