Garvin County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

I have updated the spreadsheet of poolings for Garvin & Stephens county to bring them up to date. Links are below. As always, comments welcome.

Thanks Darla, in this case I’m trying to limit a lease I will sign to just the mississipian, woodford and hunton formations spelled out in a spacing order. This is one where NFX has a pooling order and I’m going to lease to a 3rd party so they can take a working interest, but I’ve already leased above 9150’ to Triad. On reflection, I think I can just repeat the language on formation from the pooling and that should be fine. So it would read:

Covers only the common sources of supply as indicated:

Common Sources of Supply Size of Unit Order No

Mississippian 640-acres 612875

Woodford 640-acres 612875

Hunton 640-acres 612875

Chris, This is what I have been using.

This Lease shall automatically terminate ninety (90) days after the expiration of the primary term of this Lease as to the portion or portions of the land covered hereby which are not included in a producing governmental drilling or spacing unit. In addition to the foregoing provisions, this Lease shall automatically terminate upon the expiration of its primary term as to all depths lying 100 feet above and below the deepest producing formation.

Newfield production update (from Linda)

Hey, Hutch, looks like you have your own stamp now! We’re gonna miss the faces of your pretty ladies though, you know!

Linda, I finally broke down and got us some smart phones, just playing with the camera. The girls will probably be back.

Garvin: Continental Resources, Inc.; Ball No. 1-19H Well; SW1/4 SW1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 (SL) of 19-03N-04W; 300 barrels oil per day, 435,000 cu-ft gas per day; TD 17,628.

Someone posted info on the Foster-Tussey Unit awhile back and I lost it. Was trying to find my Tract Participation #'s Thanks in advance.

Michael,

I agree with Linda. The gurls is what makes you look so good. hehe

“We’re gonna miss the faces of your pretty ladies though, you know!”

Clint Liles

Thanks Clint you and Linda are correct

Linda, yeah you can do a picture in picture. My daughter took it, don’t know how she did the stamp thing, I just cropped my face out to use for a profile picture. I’ll go back to something a little more pleasant to look at soon.

With a close up of your pic. I thought it looked like a validated postage stamp with the crimped edges and little lines across the forehead. Is that an app on your new cell phone making it look that way? COOL!!!

Today’s Oklahoman, print version, listed Newfield’s Williams No. 1H-7X (Sec’s 18&7)production report. The online version for some unknown reason does not have the O&G report. 1059 barrels and 3096mcf gas/day.

Pretty impressive #'s aren’t they Tom? As I mentioned before, a couple of perfs in 19 couldn’t have hurt much (the only sec I have mineral rights in of the three involved-SHL.

Maybe with that good news they will start pooling section 17! Keeping fingers crossed.

Hope the Studdard comes in that good. If it does they sure might start pooling 17 and all the others down that way. Believe some more action is moving that way all the way to Ardmore I am told. It’s already lively north of Ardmore but they are filling in the gaps.

Is the 1059 BOEPD or BOPD?

Has anyone seen any production reports for the Davis Trust well in Sec.18-3N-4W, or any sign of activity in 7-3N-4W?

Linda, I’m beginning to wonder if they’re ever going to get that Studdard drilled. Rig has been there over 2 months now. Makes me wonder if they’re having a problem of some sort. That mountain is not THAT tall. Lol.

David,

The Davis Trust 1-7H top hole location is 18-3N-4W but all of the production will be from 18-3N-4W. There is not longer a rig on it and it is producing some oil. I might be able to get you some numbers next week.
