Good question Washington believe it are not you’ll guys are smart I just put 2 and 2 together. First off truck drivers like to talk just ask. Oil guy said monster and what I got here was casing pressure pushing oil up in that tubing. Yes they got flow meters but not going looking might be in trouble being there.
Iam thing the other well pushing up water nonstop gas not steady pressure just getting burned off it’s like. Old faithful. Only last about 5 seconds.
LKranch–So let’s say next Monday 2/16 they (rig 1209) will move off the current pad and go to the not yet built pad SW of US 90? or are they going somewhere else first ? I know EOG works fast on their pads…but…and then come back to the Rawlins/Bruhn pad ? thanks
New update from pecan pad the water was coming out of monster what I was told by truck driver. The well was flaring yesterday day for over 5 minutes. That was from a few seconds 3 days earlier. Last night no more water trucks after 10PM. Only oil truck was here around 3AM. Hope this means flow back might be close to the end.
Somebody tell me if they have Reimer on hold till Monster is done.
If they were not going to do Alfaro & Kenobi, the rig was going to Gonzales county or SW of that, and then come back for the SW Francis pad site by CR312/Cr307/Cr306…or if could go to Dorado permanently and we eventually get rig 1205 to try to hold the remaining units not drilled in our area that they want to keep before options due…However some options are coming due this spring and summer leased by EOG, San Luis or Gulftex (all assigned to EOG)…almost 98% of the redhawk leases are still under primary term until 12/2026 or later….. for each 1280 acre unit the options will cost over 1.5 million. Keep in mind that a lot of the tracts leased by EOG for the SW francis pad new site were just leased at the last half of 2025….so I not going to bet the farm (literally) that EOG will drill CR312/307/306 next as told….they are flip floppers…got to call lawyers again to get that bill even higher…they might know something they did not tell us last week.
Also looks like the mineral owners of the pad site for Rawlins+ which the tract is about 122.75 acres, only have about 20 acres total in the 2 units….since 100% have to be included this would lead to some legal financial ramifications. which were suppose to have been dealt with last week….or was there a “promise” they would return ? I would not take a promise from an oil company….
Now you have to look at the Matrix units/wells to the west of where Rawlins and Bruhn are. these wells did not come in very good at all, with he exception of Trinity which is north of Rawlins. Trinity is right under the Modern unit Grover…..Even Hollbrook and Bullard which are units in the Maddox+3 pad border a Matrix unit that did not do to good.
Should be interesting to see what happens next, and where exactly rig 1209 goes to…I can no longer take EOG’s “word” what they tell the site surface owners….I believe they are just spewing out whatever they think you want to hear to calm you and the lawyers down…
FW Eagle Ford just permitted 2 wells in Lavaca County. This is FlyWheel who purchased Baytex US Operations. I am overwhelmed to see that they are actually drilling, and filing new permits…however still just making new wells using 2-4 existing units as was the case for the most part of Baytex and Ranger. Hopefully FlyWheel will move farther east to there undeveolped 6000+ acres in Lavaca and Fayette counties.
Looks like more bad than good. Same for pecan pad guess somebody messed up by the barrel tanks and made a mess. They had a repair crew out this morning and got water trucks up and running. I guess EOG is getting sneaky and having their all tankers come in the middle of the night. Ha Ha
Rawlins/Bruhn well still drilling this afternoon. I did see where they knocked down those dirt walls on the southern side. I think if they were planning to come back to this pad anytime soon (like in 2026) they would have left those up.
Also no work on the pipeline from this pad..just staked no other activity. Looks like these wells will sit about 4-6 weeks before being fracked. they are just starting on the Maddox+3 pad frack, and no hurry since their pipeline work is proceeding at a snails pace….they will be lucky to have it done in 4 weeks (and pressure tested)…which is when the Maddox+3 should be starting flowback…
Gas production site has also slowed considerably…..
Thinking EOG jumped the gun on that one….I heard total cost of that project exceeds 10 million…land alone over 1.5 million.
I am excited about the CR312/307/306 units…however the wells around us are Marathon and they have almost zero liquids, just nat gas and not a lot. Hopefully EOG can see something in their crystal ball.
Pretty sure the pipeline will start when the first part to the gas plant is complete.
Coil tube unit was on site. Looks like they had issues boring under cr 190.
When that is complete I am betting the rest will follow.
Saw at the bruhn Rawlings they were tripping pipe. Usually the med will stop or batteries die close to TD. My son spent 14 years in solida control and said that usually happens close to TD.
Can you explain your last statement? “Usually the med will stop or batteries die close to TD. My son spent 14 years in solida control and said that usually happens close to TD.”
I think “TD” is total depth, not sure about the rest.
I know this is a bit off topic, but I follow this thread daily and really respect the opinions of everyone here. I do have mineral interests in Chadoin survey (Blackshear) and very much appreciate all of the updates!
I’m looking for a solid oil and gas attorney that is knowledgeable in Lavaca and DeWitt counties and can help with a Flowline Easement agreement that protects property owners.
