I have partial rights on 40 acres in New Martinsville. EQT sent me a small check and a letter saying a well was drilled, but is shut-in and will pay shut in rate until they put it online. I have pulled all maps and permits. i cannot find any that have a well on property, or in the pooling unit for any other well in the area. We have called EQT and they said they couldn’t find the well number for our lease and would call us back. The lease would be up in a few months if no drill, and last bonus was close to $10,000 per acre.
Seems kinda fishy to me. Especially with people having other issues with EQT. Should we contact a lawyer??
