Dawson County, TX - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Good morning,

Yes I use lease alert all the time. That is how I got my land leased. Went on lease alert, saw who was leasing in Dawson County, sent them all emails, bam lease offer, worked great. Dawson County is picking up a little. I think $65-$70 oil is the key. I have been following it for years and I see a trend of oil at $64-$67 is the catalyst for activity. Robert, Dawson County is a real hit and miss county. I mean 200 yards make a difference. I am still working because of 200 yards in Dawson County. I have 2 wells near Key, they both produce about 200-300 a month. On the same piece of property that I do not have the rights to is another well about 200 yards from mine that produces 4500 a month!!! So you never know.

The following is a sponsored (paid) promotional notice:

If you own minerals in Texas or New Mexico, consider attending the NARO – Texas convention in San Antonio July 18-20, 2018. They have a great agenda, good speakers, and the cost is reasonable. This year also includes a special session for New Mexico mineral owners. The current agenda draft is attached, and a link to their signup and information page is NARO - National Association of Royalty Owners - Authorization required
