Ricki,
Here is the website for the hearings at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. This docket is updated every Wednesday, unless there is a Monday holiday, after normal working hours.
On the far left notice the Binoculars. Select the binoculars and in the search window type in CARTER and select SEARCH.
This will let you search all the requests for Carter County without going through everything.
By selecting the first entry you can now go down all the Carter County listings by using the down arrow. Just above the highlighted CARTER, you will notice the Section/Township/Range. Also look for INCREASED DENSITY in the fourth column.
Ricki,
The XTO website is
https://secure.pds-austin.com/xto/intro.asp
You will need to set up an account. When contacting them be sure to include your āACCOUNT NUMBERā; it is at the bottom of your check.
XTO calls this interest STATUTORY INTEREST. The 12% is due if your first check was later than 6 months from the first date of sale/production, which for HOBBS 1-30H was 8/06/2010. So XTO needs to pay you 12% from the date of the first check all the way back to the beginning. It will take about 4 weeks or so to get the check. Also remember to look at ROSALIE 1-25H. First production/sale date was 5/17/2011.
Ricki,
Thatās because I didnāt send it, LOL.

I noticed that the farmers could be more productive where you are if all the darn oil wells werenāt in the way
Thank you, Daniel!
I will definitely check out the Oklahoma Corporation Commission website. Also, I have been reading the past posts on this wall. Did you happen to remember the web address at XTO where a person can request the 12% interest? And, I have one more question (sorry, the more I read, the more questions I haveāha). Concerning the protest hearing on Section 32-9 wells, who and why are they protesting? I donāt understand!!! This is great information!! Itās also very interesting. I attended a town meeting in Lubbock, Texas this fall. I remember the presenter said, āMake this your business, not just your monthly check for Vega!ā Thereās a lot to learn, but this wall is certainly a place to start!!! Thanks again. Ricki
Ricki,
WIN, LLC is the party that is protesting the 9 additional wells in Section 32. There was no reason given for the protest.
Also, of interest: XTO is drilling 3 or 4 wells in Section 2, 4S 2E in the CARNEY formation. I think this is an oil formation above the WOODFORD formation. As you may know, most of the drilling east of I-35 is in the WOODFORD formation. This activity goes east to Johnston and Marshall Counties.
Daniel,
Thank you⦠Thatās Township 3 South, Range 1 West.
Jay,
I cannot find any activity of any kind in your mineral interest.
Thanks for your input Daniel.
Guess farming can remain unobstructed for the foreseeable future. My great uncle left the Indian Territories about the time of Statehood and moved to California. Family has always hung onto these mineral rights so weāll keep checking from time to time.
Ricki,
I was looking in the Public Land records of Carter County and I could not find any information on WIN, LLC. I saw your entry there a couple of times with a direct lease to XTO.
I looked up WIN and the lawyer involved is experienced in oil field work. Like you I could find nothing on WIN.
Thank you guys for the info! Ricki
Hope theyāre both good producers, Ronald!
Although, 2-3 is probably a bit more realistic - then trickle for 10 more. Itās all good, though!
The Dubeil is complete. The production casing is done. Expect they will walk it over 20 feet and drill the Indian Hills hole to the north.
Daniel, I do not know Ms. Hobbs.
Ronald, Thatās great about your $9/mcf !
I am hoping for 4-5 good years of production.
I am with you on good producers Paul. Do you have a working interest? If so you will get a daily report from XTO
